SWA is coming to our town so I have been trying to read up about them. One thing I have seen over and over is that they will issue a credit if their airfare goes down. How does this work? I assume you have to ask for it? Or is it automatic? On a related note, how does this work if you book on points? Since the point redemption is based on the dollar-cost of the price, are you eligible for a "refund" of your points if the fare goes down?
I just got the SWA Visa and the 50,000 points, plus I transferred my 2.5 A+ credits which added another 3,000 points. I'm hoping to use them for our trip in November. I just wish I knew what the times are going to be. Right now, the non-stop return departs at 10am. I loathe the idea of getting up at 5:30am to go home
. I may opt for a return with a layover on another airline, even if it means I have to pay for it, if it means I don't have to be at the DME stop at 7am
