My son will be a little over 3 when we go & his umbrella stroller does'nt seem sturdy enough anymore, plus the wheels seem too close together & you keep kicking them, also, I need to stoop over to push it. My question is, how do I go about taking his big stroller. It folds but is still bulky. I've never flown so what happens with th stroller at the airport?

you walk up to the gate with the stroller and you 'gate check' the stroller so it's the last thing on the plane and its the first thing off and waiting for you when you get off the plane.

I was reading in another thread how alot of strollers come back damaged. Should I try to get a cover for mine?

I'm sure it would help keep it together but when we went I had no problems at all with the stroller, but as someone says you just never know. I think I would worry more if you were changing planes, but if it's non stop probably less to worry about.

I'll be gate checking ours and buying a cover for it ;) I spent way too much on the thing to have it damaged, so I'm definitely springing for the cover.

I am getting my MIL to make a cover for it. I tried to find one but Graco does'nt seem to make any.
