New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

Question - we have the Premier card but this would absolutely make sense for us based on how we vacation between the cruise line and the parks. Will I get the sign up bonuses if I upgrade my current card, or should I apply for the Insipire Card, and then downgrade my premier card to the free version? I don't need to keep both with the annual fee but don't want to cancel and take a FICO hit for cancelling a line of credit.

That is exactly what I will do when I apply for the Inspire card.

Thanks, I am now sifting through all these pages to get a rough estimate on how long it took from approval to card arrival.

I think ours came either exactly a week from date it was opened or possibly one day faster.

Several people have mentioned needing to call. If you do not get near-instant approval, call (1-800-935-9935) in a business day or two. Apparently some applications get a "needs more information" label, which for me meant that I needed to call and verify the information they already had. No one seems responsible for reaching out to you. After calling and being transferred 4 times, I verified my info and had approval and the $300 gift card in seconds.

After some thought, I applied today and was approved. Got the GC immediately. Now waiting on the card and hope I get it before we leave at the end of the month to put all our portfolio charges on it.

I am also assuming there isn't a way to get the card number/details before the hard card arrives?

I called Chase after I was approved and requested that it be expedited as I had upcoming expenses I wanted to use the card for. They approved the expedited shipping. I was approved and called on 2/3, card was delivered 2/5.
