First of all - thank you to everyone who has offered advice and insight on this boards - it has helped so very much!!

We are going May 25-29th. Family of 6. Three adults and three kids - one under three.

I don't understand where to buy my tickets? I know I want Park Hoppers - is the 5 for 3 still going on? Do I buy that ahead of time? I have $1800 in Disney Visa Dollars to use - does that limit where I can buy my tickets?

I tried to read other threads about where to buy tickets - it is just confusing to me.

Thanks in advance for the directions!

You can order them online at Disneyland.com (click buy, then tickets). The 5 for 3 tickets are available there for visits through the end of September I think, says this deal is not available at the Park. You can use your Disney Visa Rewards Card to purchase them as with any gift card. I'll be doing that too! :)

can I use reward dollars anywhere else - like AAA? Do they offer the 5 for 3 promo? I am just wondering what website I should use to compare prices.
thanks.

AAA does not take Disney Reward dollars.

Be sure to buy them online before you leave they cost more $ at the park :scared1: the best deals are on the Disney website or your AAA office, sometimes costco, I know up here they ( costco ) have a park hopper deal that comes with either a gift card 25$ or a character breakfast per ticket. :)

No, AAA and Costco do not accept them, only places that accept a Disney Gift Card. I have found the rates on Disneyland.com for tickets only to be pretty compatible. Some may offer them for $5 less online, but that's all.

I booked out DHL stay for free with our other credit card points and am using our Disney Dollars for tickets - all we'll pay for is gas to get there and food!

Your dates are the same as ours!!!! Very cool! We're a family of 3...hubby looks like a Korean sumo, I'm an Irish mutt, and DS turns 5 on the 26th and has red hair and amber eyes (and will either be wielding a foam sword or lightsaber)... we're probably not that easy to overlook! :)

Anyway, I went to disneyland.com, hovered over Book, clicked on Tickets. They are having the special on tickets through September, and you can get 5 day tickets for the price of 3. $149 for ages 3-9, $179 for 10 and up. Your under-3 won't need a ticket. You'll have plenty of reward dollars left.

Since you're using the reward dollars I think the only place you can buy from is disneyland.com.

If I were you I would use the e-ticket option. YOu get PDFs of the tickets sent by email. You print out the pages, and take them right to the park turnstiles. They will scan each print-out and issue proper tickets right then and there! Could hardly be easier. :)

I wanted to mention, b/c I think it's worth mentioning, that just in case you guys get the DLR fever and want to upgrade to APs, you'll pay the difference between the cost of the AP and what you paid for the tickets. (at WDW, once you use the ticket it becomes current gate price...it's different at DLR) So if the Deluxe is still 269, you'd pay 269-179 for each adult and 269-149 for the ticketed kids (same price from 3 to however-old-you-get). That's worth keeping in mind, when buying discounted tickets.
