We just passed ROFR for a SSR resale and I have (of course!!) some questions....Do I get some kind of master manual that explains the 'rules' to me once I close?
Like, How does banking points work (timeframe and when they expire)? and things like that??

Since you bought resale, Disney won't be sending you much info the first year. Contact member administration when everything is completed and ask for a copy of the DVC Vacation Planner.

You might also ask the company you bought through if they have a copy of the Public Offering Statement for that resort.

As a newbie, just remember one thing... If you need an answer to your question? Just ask it on the Dis. If someone doesn't know the answer...they'll find it.

(BTW, you can bank pts during the first 8 months of your UY, in case you really didn't know.)

We purchased through resale in May so I know what you are going through. We did recieve a book from DVC after about 2 months with all the basic information about rules and regulations. But honestly I have learned more from the people on the DIS than anywhere. If you have specific questions you can call MS for a quick answer but IMHO you get more options as well as solutions by posting on the boards. It will all become second nature after a few weeks of following the boards. By the way Welcome Home!!!
