sorcery in the sky?

What is sorcery in the sky? Is it just fireworks? Is it similar to MK fireworks?

Mostly just fireworks, with a great movie music score. There is (was?) a large inflatable Sorceror Mickey which appears on the Chinese theater during the show.

I ehard it wll be happening on July 4th, but I can't find it listed anywhere. I won't be there until the 13th. Anyone know if there is more of a schedule for July out there somewhere?

According to the official WDW website, it's only on July 4. Click on "parks" and then on "park hours," scroll down to the Studios and click on a date to see the event times for that date.

I was not impressed last year with Sorcery in the Sky on July 4 at MGM. I seem to remember them being better each night before Fantasmic took over. I also don't recall the inflatable Mickey going up last year either. As we are going back this year during 4th of July, we will be watching fireworks from EPCOT after Illuminations.
