Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Card List

Last week they were already selected and stuck in the fold of the map. They were not packaged but "pre-selected".

Got it. That's what I really meant by the quotes on 'pre-packaged'... not a formal sealed package but a pre-gathered pile of stuff. I would really like to go to WDW and try it, but I have no trips planned. :/ So I have to live vicariously through everyone else.

Ours were already selected for us, too, although we saw small packages of Sorcerers cards (like baseball-card packs) in a box at the end of the play-testing period. Tons of them.

Other guests at the Fire Station to offer feedback asked if they could get extras - and were told "no." But they were permitted to look through the cards. (We had an ADR, so couldn't or I may have never left. )

So does anyone have the day of the week that they were doing the testing on or was it random? We will be getting there on Sunday and was wondering if they will still be testing next week?

They were testing last Sunday but you never know with soft openings.

I am bummed about baseball card style. I wish they would just sell complete sets. If it is baseball style I think I will just take what I get when I sign up.

Well, there's no official word on how the card swill be sold - if they even will.

Disney may offer complete sets as well as packs. Disney will sometimes do both, like with Vinylmation. And the baseball card model, if used, certainly uses both small and complete packages. We just don't know for sure.

But given how the cards are designed - with what looks to be multiple sets, different card groups and spell types - I do think it's a safe bet that cards will be available for purchase. It just makes business sense; give guests a starter set for free to play the game, get us hooked, then encourage us to purchase cards in order to get our fix.

I had been hearing Sun and Thurs, but then I saw a tweet from TouringPlans that said they were playing Mon or Tues this week.

As with any testing or soft opening, you can't plan for it: just show up with your fingers crossed.

Just was there today and unfortunately I was only able to get 5 cards (my wife got them). When I went back around 3:30 so I could get some myself they were closed.

Also to note: They now require a park ticket to get your cards, so they know for at least that day whether you have already gotten your cards or not. Probably too many people were going back trying to get more. If you have an annual pass or 10-day magic-you-way ticket, maybe that means you can only get your 5 cards once? Who knows.

Another note: I noticed that one of the locations right behind from Bibbity Bobbity Boutique now has a permanent, raised, embossed MK emblem on the ground, not a sticker. They are obviously planning on rolling this out. Other locations still have the sticker. I took a picture and I'll post it shortly.

The cards I got are already one the list and all have the star-within-a-star on them: 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. Here is the missing information:

11: Animal: Silver horseshoes bring you luck, Though not if in your head they're stuck.

12: If sorcery you would acquire, Don't get too close to balls of fire.

15: Princess Spell: Quick: This is how a girl expresses Her emotions through her tresses.

Unfortunately my vacation is ending soon and I will be unable to get more cards (unless I can get some on Monday). If anyone want to give me theirs or sell them to me, PM me. Or I'll just keep watching eBay.

It was fun while I had the chance and I got 10 cards out of it!

We're down to just two missing cards: 4 and 65. I'm missing data from a lot of others too, of course, but those two are the only 'mystery' cards.

Did you get to do Kim Possible at Epcot?

I will be interested to hear how you compare the two games.

When they set up your phone, they can send you to a specific country pavilion. I would ask for Mexico or Japan, though Germany is fun! When you finish one, it will offer you another randomly.

I would think Disney wouldn't want the full set posted. And honestly I don't have that many good shots. I have maybe 10 full card images... the rest are shots at a distance where you can read the card name and that's about it.

I set up a Google Alert for "sorcerers of the magic kingdom cards" looking for All Results (articles, pictures, video, etc) and it does a GREAT job of hunting down articles on the game, most of which include images.

From what I hear a photo of the cards on your smartphone will work the same as actually having the card. I haven't tried it but I have friends that have confirmed.

Also- I feel Kim possible is MUCH better than sorcerers as it exists today. BUT I think sorcerers has much more potential. I'm really excited to see what they make of it.
