Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Card List

Thanks very much! Yay, we know all 70 characters involved in the spell cards. :) Not a big deal game-wise right now, but when they let you play more than 'easy mode', I think all of this information will be useful.

We still need a lot of card information (spell types, action types, quotes) to fill out the list, but this is great progress.

Let's see how much I can help out here:

#8 - King Triton's Sword | Warrior | Charming | If one sharp point will leave you sore, / Three will poke you even more

#18 - The Fairy Godmother's Pumpkin Bash | Fairy | Bibbity bobbity bibbity boo! / A spate of pumpkins falls on you!

#19 - The Giant's Giant Stomp | Stomp the castle! Crush the town! / What's built up will soon come down.

#37 - The Queen of Heart's Card Army | Strong | Go on, give the cards a shuffle. / That will cause a fine kerfuffle.

#38 - The Sugar Plum Fairies' Dewdrop Spiderweb | Fairy | Charming | The fairy spell can be quite tricky | Trapping you in webs so sticky.

#39 - Wall-e's Trash Crunch | Cars, guitars, and vacuum tubes, / I'll crush you into little cubes.

#43 - Caballero Donald's Pinata | Inside you'll find a tasty snack / So grab a bat and take a whack.

#51 - Pocahontas's Colors of the Wind | Awash in greens and reds and blues, / The wind's bedecked in many hues

#60 - Tiana's Hot Sauce | This tasty topping has some minuses, / Most encountered by your sinuses.

#65 - Jasmine's Magic Carpet Tassels of Fury | Princess | Flying | Hiding in the highest castles / Won't escape my flying tassels.

#31 - And if behind the door you hide, Beware what's on the other side
#40 - A wizard you shall be anointed, With a hat that's nice and pointed
#43 - Inside you'll find a tasty snack, So grab a bat and take a whack
#51 - Awash in greens and reds and blues, The wind's bedecked in many hues
#55 - If a bell ringer you'd be, You soon will find it tolls for thee
#65 - 1/2/2 - Hiding in the highest castles, Won't escape my flying tassels

DH met the developer?/designer? of the game when we were there. He had the full deck and was doing testing so I sent DH over to talk to him. LOL That guy said that you'll get cards for free each time you want to play (no discussion on what each time meant) so I'm thinking you could probably end up with a good sized deck for free but you'll have to get your key activated each time.

Of course that's not set in stone or anything but just what the guy told DH.

DH got cards 27-31.

Wooooo! Thank you both for that massive update!

And thanks for that info, delmar. Currently, they scan your park ticket so you can only get 1 set of 5 spell cards per day. :)

OK, after that update we're down to the following:

Need card data (spell & action type) for:
23 Aladdin
26 Colonel Hathi
40 Yen Sid

Need quotes for:
23 Aladdin
26 Colonel Hathi
33 Prince Philip
34 Snow White
41 Aurora

For those that aren't following @DisneySorcerers on Twitter, Cast Members are saying that SotMK will be open daily as of Feb 5 and will officially open Feb 21. :)

40 Yen Sid

Need quotes for:
40 Yen Sid

Where do I find the spell & action type? Looking at the Yen Sid card. Also, Yen Sid card quote is in my past above.

I blew it... I need the quote for 41 Aurora but the card data for 40 Yen Sid. :)

The spell type is just below the picture, ie Monster Spell or Princess Spell

The action type is just above Attack, Boost, and Shield, ie Energy or Wishful

The third sheet of my Google spreadsheet shows these values listed in a grid... there are 4 Princess/Wishful cards but no Princess/Strong cards (yet).

Tried this game out last week - -very cool.

Looks like you are just missing a few descriptions on your spreadsheet. I'll check my cards. I know I have Aurora's Rose petals.

Thanks for any help! :)

And I'm amazed there haven't been any cards up on eBay yet!!

Aurora's Rose Petals -

Though beautiful, these magic petals
Strike a foe like stinging nettles.

FYI -- not sure how "super-rare" these cards are -- my DH got all 3 of them in his pack: #61 Ariel's Bubble Attack, #64 Hercules's Tower Topple, and #63 Finn McMissile's Missile Salvo.

Thanks for the quote... almost done!

Disney talked about the three rarity symbols on 1-60, but not about the lightning bolts on 61-70. My best guess is that they will only be available in retail packs: "chaser cards". But right now, they need to test everything, so they're just giving you 5 cards, often in sequence, with no regard to rarity. Once Feb 21 hits, I think that will all change.

The way that it is setup the average guest would walk right by it. I think the only people playing are real Disney fans that are going to want the cards. Plus only getting 5 every time you drag over to the Magic Kingdom makes them pretty hard to get. I think you'll see them if they start selling packs.

Wow, you're quick! I came here to update you on two of my friend's cards - he posted them to his site - and you already caught them.

Looks like it's down the text for two cards, then: Prince Phillip's Enchanted Sword and Snow White's Housecleaning. (Or any duplicates that might be circulating.)

The thread has been a big help in updating my lists, so I've added a thank you to the note about SotMK that's on my Kungaloosh, my Facebook fan page. It offers an overview list and links to two Google Docs - one organized by number, one by card name. Feel free to visit to compare notes.

Ok, got it!

Cool! Then DH got lucky and got 3 of the super rare cards!:cool1:

Don't quote me on that... I'm just guessing based on my knowledge of collectible card games. So far they've followed the general layout: different rarities of cards, cards ordered alphabetically (here within rarity), etc. Since they didn't announce what the lightning bolts are, it must be something that needs to be announced later, once the game goes public.

We will see!

God bless Google Alerts. :) It found the massive picture update and I updated my list this morning.

I saw the thank you on your page... thank YOU! Now we just sit and wait for the medium and hard versions to be announced and implemented. I saw an article today where the designer said the hard level was really hard, and you would probably lose several fights along the way to defeating the bad guys.

The MagiQuest game at Great Wolf Lodges (and other places) is generally easy: you wander around, find specific things, and activate with your wand. Then the quests get harder, where they don't tell you exactly where something is, or what you're looking for, but give you hints. Then the hard quests are things like "activate the 8 crystals in the correct order"... and you don't know the order and they're on 8 different floors of the hotel. :) I still haven't done that one. And fighting the big dragon requires that you complete easy quests before you can have a showdown with the dragon. You have to cast certain spells at specific times (ie, a cold spell while his back is turned in the video). It's very complicated and you really need to know what you're doing.

I could see something along the lines of "to defeat this villain you must use 7 points of attack and 5 points of shield, but you can only cast 2 spells." You and I know from our lists that you have to have Tinkerbell (6-0-0) and either Sugar Plum Fairies or Pooh (1-0-5) to do that. But maybe they don't tell us all that... just "high attack and shield, but only two spells". That's hard!

I love the info that has been put together here.

So I made some pdf files that I am going to upload for those who want something that looks nice that they can print out or put on there iPads or something. Im also going to make one of all the card images as we fine decent ones.

Any idea where I might find some good card images?
