Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Card List

My son has the 1-60 in a baseball card book. He does not bring those to the park. He plays with any duplicate cards and we keep them in a hard plastic container, but we are looking for a small trading card book.

We watched someone play with a small trading card book. He opened his book and it played the whole sheet of cards! He said he got the book at Walmart.

I have my cards in the 4 card page binder from Wal-Mart. It originally had Pokémon on it that I just ripped out and replaced with my own decorations. It works great for me and fits inside my purse when not playing

LOL! We got the Pokemon one too! It was the only one small enough to fit in DH's cargo pants pockets.:lmao:

Thanks, I'll have to look for the Pokémon one.

Can anyone post a picture of the Pokemon binder?

EDIT: Nevermind, my Google Fu was off... just google "pokemon 4-pocket". Some of the YuGiOh binders look cooler. ;)

If you guys are looking for binders, I found the Pokemon ones at Toys R Us and also a 4 card per page binder that holds the whole deck plus extra pages for tradable cards. They also had deck boxes.

Target had some as well by the cash registers where they keep their trading cards.

I would also try your local comic book shops.

I am so very addicted to this game!

So addicted that I've somehow managed to get a nearly complete set, but for some reason I can't seem to find Triton and am looking to trade.

Heck, getting a full set of lightning bolt cards wasn't this difficult!

Before anyone asks, I only have one of each of the lightning bolts, so if trading is of interest, I do have a bunch of dupes in the 1-60 range but those 61-70 are not tradable.

I have an extra Triton if you're still looking. I need

#9 Lythos's Rock Titan Boulder Throw

#12 Merlin's Fireball

# 20 Tinkerbell's Pixie Dust.

If you are here in Florida I'd be happy to meet you in the park to trade.

so have they started selling the cards in the parks yet?
The game hasn't be "released" for a month yet... I wouldn't expect them to sell cards until people have traded for a while, maybe a few months. Then the "booster packs" will have a 61-70 card, and those will go nuts.

I didn't find any binders at a few Walmarts, so next it's Toys R Us and a comic book shop (not that I have any cards yet!). :)

GAH! I traded my Tinkerbell for the Merlin for my set last time I was in the park. :(

Fortunately, I'm going to the parks again tomorrow so I'll either end up with more trade fodder or finish my set.

Once I'm done with a full set, I've got plans to just start RAK-ing my duplicates to people. :D

Are the current cards being given out the ones with squarer corners (NOT perfectly square corners) or more rounded corners? I have finally gotten some cards, and I have some of each. Just curious what is "current". :)

By the way: 254 SotMK cards/sets up on eBay today!

The current ones have the squarer corners--got 60 more this weekend. The only ones I have with the rounder corners were issued before it went live. I'm keeping those. ;)

DisneyParks Blog released the official card spoiler list, and of course showed a card I've never seen. The main cartoon art of Thumper is the same as now, but the background pattern and frame icon isn't the pair of feet on the current cards! :) And there's no card number or rarity symbol. Very odd.

On another SotMK-centered forum, that Thumper is believed to be concept art. Note the copyright in the lower right.

I believe it... just think it's funny to use that image when the cards are now released! And it doesn't look like the Thumper card you and I use. ;)

My cards from mid-February are all rounded edges. I got a set each day I was in the MK.

There are multiple cards listed on Ebay that say "SQUARE CUT EDGE WHICH IS PRE ROUND CUT EDGE!" Sorry for the caps, that is from the listing. Unless it was square, then rounded, then back to square (which is the current type being distributed?)

thanks!

We just got back and we made a terrible mistake of not going into MK everyday. We didn't find out about the game until Tuesday, and we went into the MK Thursday, Friday and Saturday to get cards - 4 * 4 * 5 so we have about 80 cards. We have APs so next March when we go back we can get more cards, but I am seriously considering relocating to Orlando so my daughter can get more cards. We live about 13 hours away (baltimore) or a 2 hour flight, so going to collect more cards is not cheap. (Either 600 dollars in gas to get to disney or 800 - 1000 flying for the 4 of us.)

Oh how I wish we would have went to MK everyday just to get the cards!

We have alot of the numbers and my daughters started writing them down.

I don't think we have any of the lightning bolts - they are pretty hard to get right?

I saw on Ebay that the Woody Card with Slinky sold for 355.00 dollars :scared1:

And the lighting bolt cards are getting 100 dollars - wow!

If I lived near Disney it could be a second job for my family :)

Sounds like the eBay listing is wrong. Go figure. ;)

Yes, there are no credible reports they have been distributed since the game went live on February 22. So they are currently hard to get and therefore fetch a pretty penny. Hopes are they will be available, presumably for sale in some form, soon.

The Woody with Slinky is an error card apparently produced before Disney realized they don't have the rights to print Slinky. Whoops.

I think the "square cut" cards are early early cards. There is no rounding to them at all.

The pre-release cards were "very rounded". More card trimmed from the corners.

The current cards are "slightly rounded", and almost seem square, but it's NOT a sharp corner: it is barely rounded. These are shaped more like common playing cards.

I know that there were 5 cards distributed in a "teaching kit" for CMs (I've seen them on eBay), and you tore off perforated cards. I could see these being the "square cut" cards?
