Soprano question about Dr. Malphi

I thought she was married? Did I miss the episode of her divorce?? Last night,when Tony wanted a reason why they couldn't date I was expecting her to say "I'm a married woman"

She's divorced from her husband, Richard. They reunited briefly during Season 3, but it fell apart after she was raped. They didn't remarry. Melfi is single.
