Okay we book all these reservations 180 days out, and put credit cards on them. What does Disney do, they change the website and you can not link them without all the confirmation numbers.

I just spent 2 hours on the phone with them and I am thinking of just calling and canceling my credit card and getting a new one.

First, I still don't think they have them all, he gave me 13 ( we are there for 2 weeks in may), I said there are more he said no that is it under phone number. He said let me try your email, he pulls up more.

Now I have all the reservation numbers, MAYBE, and go to link them, can't do it from an iPad. They don't know why but even the tech people got an iPad and they could not do it.

I am legally blind, but I do have a brain and Disney should have had a warning to download your reservations if you are going soon because they are changing their website.

Luckily I did put the cinderella's royal table on a different credit card. But I am thinking I should just cancel the credit card so I am not charged $50, $10 / person if I don't show up to a reservation that I made months ago and Disney did not link the new system to the old system. Just say there are three of them they they missed, that would be $150 in disneys pocket, for there stupidity.

Luckily I have a bank that I can walk into and walk out with a new credit card instantly.

When I made mine, they emailed me the confirmations. I have 14 ADRs. It is a little troubling that the website is different than the app. I would try linking them to your My Disney Experience account from a PC rather than a tablet.

They won't charge you unless you don't show up. Do you think you may forget some of your reservations if they aren't on the website? Or are you considering cancellling some of them? If you plan to keep them, you already have the confirmation numbers.

If you are just nervous because they don't appear on the site, if you're staying at a Disney resort, the lobby concierge can print out all your reservations for you so you can check them. The reservations should still be there even if they don't appear on the site.

You didn't keep a copy of the confirmation numbers somewhere? Do you think there are some you forgot about?

I don't understand either. They only charge you if you don't show up.

Whether it's a Disney ADR, airline ticket, rental car confirmation, even a movie ticket, I always have a hard copy backup or confirmation numbers written down -- no matter how good their online/app system is -- guess I don't trust ANYONE!! :rotfl: My theory: something can always go wrong with an electronic system -- but hard to argue with my printed copy. :)

In this case, while it's definitely frustrating that this is not exactly working seamlessly (!!), I'm not sure I understand the extent of the concern -- so far as to consider canceling the credit card. As others have said, they read off a list of conf#'s to you, they can all be pulled up at the hotel (assuming you're staying onsite, I believe), and nothing is charged until you dine or are a no-show.

They can pull them up if staying on site, but we are staying SoG, so they can't pull them up. Also, I am blind so it is a real pain. Also, I do keep the emails, but being blind have you ever tried to talk to Disney and saying okay, I just found another one, let me get the email read down far enough to the confirmation number, then you have to go thru about 12 paragraphs before they get to the confirmation number, then you have to listen, try to read it at the same time to the other person, who lost you and you have to go back and listen to reread it and then they can't find it so they have to go into the resturaunts website to find it, to find out you canceled it and you have to move onto the next one.

The problem is, I linked every reservation to my reservations on there old site, they should have to tell a person that the site will not be able to link to the new site and that it will not work with an iPad. They should not have giving us that option and then taken it away without a warning.

And they should not ever charge a person for something that even they can not pull up on their computer without the confirmation.

Like I say cancel the credit card, show up to the ones that Disney could find, and those they forgot, well at least they will not be charging me for the stupidity of s setting up a new website that can not be linked to the old one.
