I am going to Disney World next year! :woohoo:

And I was watching a video on YouTube yesterday of a plush Mario at Disney World, voiced and filmed by a kid. Because I am a kid-at-heart, I thought "why not? I like the Sonic games, and I can film my Sonic plushies at Disney World!" So I whipped up a few ideas.

My Sonic, Amy, and Knuckles plushes can go on: Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Small World, Barnstormer, Stitch's Great Escape (NO HATING!), Astro Orbitor, and Pirates of the Caribbean. (Yes they'll go on Tower of Terror.)

Do you like this concept or not?

My DD loves to watch those types of videos on Youtube, she's even started making some with Mario and the gang (Sonic tags along too sometimes).

Yes please make it, she seems to re-watch the same 4 or 5 movies over and over, it would be nice to have her watch something else when she goes on Youtube for a change.

Since you asked... I think it's an odd concept and I can't imagine an adult walking around with stuffed animals, filming them on rides and such. If I was a child & my parent were doing this, I might die of embarrassment.

Every party needs a pooper that's why we invited you, super dooper party pooper...

If it helps, this is a huge thing over in disney sea with Duffy. Tons of people do it there. Additionally, the roaming gnome is a huge thing (similar to this) and wasn't there a book about a paper doll that went all over?

The OP asked for opinions. :confused3 I wasn't aware that only positive reactions were welcome.

This is not DisneySea & Sonic et al. are not Duffy.

If this wasn't the place where grown adults spend multiple hours waiting in line to get their picture taken with movie princesses, or where they co-ordinate the outfits of every member of their party to have the same colors as giant, talking mice I might agree. Filming something like this at WDW, nah I wouldn't take a second look at the guy. There are few places where adults can re-connect with their inner child and not look like an idiot, WDW is one of these.

I have a doll that I've been taking on trips with me for the past 10 years. I bought him Mickey ears for our Disney trip. (And he now has an instagram too) If you think it would be fun - go for it!

Several years ago, DH and I went to WDW without the kids. DD, who was 6 at the time, was pretty upset, but gave us a small stuffed Mickey to take with us so we wouldn't forget her while we were away  .

We took photos of Mickey on every ride, in line queues, reading menus in restaurants, lounging in a chair by the pool, etc, and texted them back to her all week. She was thrilled and we really had fun doing it! We even had several CMs get into the act and take pics with Mickey as well!

Have fun!

Agree that Disney is the place to let your inner kid out. OP, I say do whatever floats your boat, and don't worry what others might think.

Well said! I say go for it!

Logistically, it might be a nightmare. You'll have to lug those things around all day ;)

Love the idea! Granted, I am working on a puppet character who will film virtual experiences for YouTube. Had the idea of taking him on my next trip to Disney, just wasn't sure what the rules are.

If this is a zombie thread now, then I apologize.

But I was the OP. I was 11 years old and didn't go to Disney until 2016. I had Sonic and Amy, but not Knuckles (I have him now along with a Sonic from the series Amy and Knuckles come from.) I didn't bring anyone on my trip except for an RX-24 action figure (the staff recognized him.)

If I were to do this now, then I'd take Sally and Mina along with Amy (they are custom-made and Amy's best friends/bandmates) and make live-action versions of the videos I post on my YT account (TouristDanny) where they ride Disney/Universal rides. I also have a stuffed Reimu, but not the PC-98 version (which is who I use in my videos.)

Maybe Sonic and Knuckles could tag along, but I don't know. I have so many Sonic stuffies now.
