Song prices gone up for Nov already????

I am going to WDW next month but also in November. I got a decent deal flying Song out of Boston. Yes, I got plane tickets this past Jan for a trip in Nov, but they had deals. So today I was playing around w/the website and the same flight is $150 more now!!! Wow!!!

the day southwest starts selling their nov tickets is the day the song flights will drop to $79 (or less) each way to/from florida and the northeast. that's the day i will book.

we're flying Song out of LGA for our November trip to WDW. I have been watching the fares for a while and booked them last week ($59 down, $69 back). Those flights are now up to $64 down and $114 back. If you look at the available seats, there are only a handful left (maybe 5-8) so I'm doubtful that they will drop the prices for just a few seats.

We wanted to fly out of Newark, which we did in December, but those tickets are now $164 each way. I'm thrilled with the price and don't care that we have to drive a bit longer. I'm saving a ton over the price of the next lowest carrier out of Newark (Continental was at $285/rt last time I checked; we're flying for $145.40/rt).

janets what is the date that you are going in Nov?

We are going for nj teachers convention. We are leaving
Nov 8 th & coming back on Nov 13th, & got the 59.00 each way.

Now I am trying to book for Feb 18th thr 25th 2006. Song is coming up with 230.00 each way? Go figure

we're leaving LGA on Sat 11/5 and returning Sat 11/12. Took the 10:30 flight down and the 11:03 (which is now 10:45 I think) flight back. The $59 fare was for the 2:30 flight down, which meant getting in after 5 PM. The morning flight had been $79 but suddenly dropped to $69 so I took it. The lowest price I would have had would be $135.40/pp rt so now we're paying $145.40/pp rt.

Needless to say, considering the fares out of Newark, this is a steal. However, since we paid $115.40/pp rt for our trip this past December, I was hoping to match that fare. But it's only $30 more pp and much, much less than everyone else.

I used to live in Queens, on final approach to LGA so I have no problem traveling from there. Many feel the runways are a bit short, but I kind of like it. And the benefits of flying Song can't be beat.

Where are you staying, BTW? We're going offsite again (my youngest will only be a bit over 3) but hope to come back on site next year.

WE ARE LEAVING NOV 8 & RETURNING ON NOV 13TH

I ACTUALLY GOT MY TICKETS WITH SONG THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS. EVERYONE WAS HUSTLING & BUSTLING, & I WAS LOOKING FOR TICKETS.

MY HOMEWORK PAID OFF, I WAS ABLE TO GET THE FARE FOR 110.00 ROUND TRIP. I PAID 10.00 MORE ON THE RENT A CAR LOL GO FIGURE.

MY DD & I ARE STAYING AT THE MARRIOTT AT THE AIRPORT, FOR WE ARE MEETING UP WITH MY DSIL & HER 2 KIDS. (THEY ARE FLYING STANDBY OUT OF EWR SHE WORKS FOR AIRLINE, I HOPE SHE HAS NO PROBLEMS GETTING A FLIGHT) I FIGURE, WHO GETS THERE FIRST, CAN TAKE A SHUTTLE TO HOTEL, & WE CAN SHUTTLE BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR OUR RENT A CAR.

WE ARE DOING MAGIC KINGDOM ON WED, THAT NIGHT, WE ARE OFF TO THE RADDSION IN CAPE CANAVERAL, FOR A NIGHT, THEN NEXT MORNINING, LEAVE OUR CAR THERE & SHUTTLE TO THE "WONDER" FOR 3 DAYS.

SUNDAY, SHUTTLE TO THE RADDISON FOR OUR RENT A CAR, & WE ARE OFF KISSIMEE TO THE "SHERIDAN VISTANA" (MY DMIL WILL BE THERE & OTHER SIL, HER KIDS ARE STAYING THERE) TO SWIM & WHAT EVER ACTIVITIES THEY HAVE.

OUR FLIGHT IS LEAVING AT 8:30 PM, WE DON'T NEED TO LEAVE UNTIL ABOUT 5:30 FOR THE AIRPORT.
