If you have booked a flight with Song out of LaGuardia or plan to fly into LaGuardia you better check your flights. It seems Song had reduced the number of flights from 4 each way to 2 each way. I happened to catch it and was able to move from the flight they assigned me to the other flight available for our return. No charge. They even assigned us the seats we had on the original flight (there are 9 of us.) Better check your itineraries quickly and call song to confirm the flights to insure your seats. They will not confirm you seats until you call in. I guess they want to make sure you are aware of the change.

we are flying LGA/MCO 11/5 and returning 11/12. My 10:30 ish flights in both directions are gone and we had been moved to the 7:30 AM out/7:55 AM back flights, which were unacceptable to me. Since they will no longer be flying out of Newark (I'm in NJ) I ended up switching to JFK. Got 9:50 AM out and 2:00 PM back, which means that we don't have to rush out the door first thing to get to the airport at the end of the trip.

Was able to get seats home but not down, so I'll have to check periodically to see if anything opens up. Anyone know if Song releases those "held" seats at 24 hours out so I would be able to check in and get seats the day before?

Called my friend at 8:20 last night (she's also flying out of LGA...day after us down and our flight back, with her dh and 4 boys) and left her a message to call them ASAP and get herself straightened out. My husband is very upset, thinking they should have contacted us, but I reminded him that they do that 30 days out, which would have been awful for us.

As Brian keeps reminding us, when you book that far in advance (I bought these tickets in March) you are only guaranteeing a seat on a plane between point A and point B. They have the right to continually change the schedule until it's set (of course, they can change and not refund us, but if we change, we usually pay). At least this board alerted me to the problem early enough that I was able to get a satisfactory solution.

We booked far in advance too. We booked in July for a February 2006 flight. I'm sure it will probably change another time before we leave, but I hope not. They placed us on the 7:30 flight to MCO, we had the 6:30 so that change was not too bad. They had switched us to the 7:55 home (to LGA) instead of the 10:30 we originaly booked, but I opted to take the 4:30 instead of switching airports. At least now we can have breakfast and do a little shopping before we leave WDW. I was even able to get all the same seating as our original plans. Keep on them with the phone calls about your seating. If you had assigned seats before you should get them again or at least something close to it. Good luck

Thanks for the info! I will keep checking mine to see if they change.

Can you all give me the weeks you are going that these changes are being made? I am just curious. I am going from Sept 24 thru Oct 2. So far my schedule has not changed but Song airlines did say in an email to me that some of there times are changing this fall AGH

Dina, we weren't given the option of the 4:30 flight coming home; I'm fine w/ JFK...just did it in June for a short 4 day trip. We're heading out on the 9:50 AM flight on 11/5 and coming home on the 2:00 flight on 11/12. I liked parking at the AviStar lot so we'll do that again as well.

We were unable to get the same seats (or even close) since all the "assignable" seats on the outbound flight are booked up. I'm going to keep checking to see if any appear, and if not, I'll go on line 24 hours ahead and see if they've released the held seats in the front of the plane. I'm sure one way or the other, they will find us seats (no one wants to sit w/ a 7 yo or a 3 yo if it's not theirs...heck, sometimes I don't want to sit with them!).

Glad you got yours worked out.
