My soon to be six-year-old son has a below knee prosthetic. Are there any rides he will be unable to ride on? Thank you so much

Soarin’ is the only attraction at WDW where guests are sitting with their legs dangling.
All other attractions have ‘floors’ .
I have never heard anything regarding guests with prosthetic limbs having issues with Soarin’ . If you are concerned, you can talk to the CM at the attraction entrance. Worst case scenario in case you are concerned about the limb not staying on securely would be removing it before riding.

If you go to AK, Flights of Passage has restraints that hold the legs in a particular position. Since his is a BKA, he might not have any issues. There is a trial ride car in front of the attraction where he could try it before going inside. There is also a thread about the Pandora attractions stuck near the top of this board. It includes pictures and videos that might be helpful.

I believe Universal does have restrictions so if you're going there you might want to research that too.
Yes, you are correct that Universal does have more restrictions.
Many of their attractions, especially at Islands of Adventure, are much more ‘thrill’ rides than those at WDW.
You can get more information from the Universal Rider Guide. The information about prosthetics is on page 15.

I have looked and Disney parks are pretty much the only ones that don't have any restrictions listed for those with prosthetic limbs that I have looked into, so please make sure you check out any rules for any other parks you may visit, including Universal, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Legoland, etc. to know ahead of time if there are any restrictions.

I assume that’s the two of you in the pic. He’s adorable! And so are you. Have a great trip.
