My son will be two when we arrive, but will celebrate his third birthday during the trip. Do we need to buy him a child ticket? And if not, will park entry personnel give us a hard time every day when we enter the park because he looks old enough to require a ticket?

Thanks!

I had this exact question because my DD will turn 3 on our trip next summer. The CM said that they honor the age of the child at check-in at your Disney resort. So if you are staying on property, then you have nothing to worry about.

Also, in my experience we have never had a CM "challenge" us in terms of our kids looking like they need a ticket. We actually got our son into the MK for free last year because I had totally forgotten that he needed a ticket. So he did get a free day - sorry! Not a single CM questioned us though. :confused3

Thanks!

I am a little concerned because we were there last fall, a few weeks after he had turned two, and we did get asked twice. They didn't fight us when we said he was two, but I am wondering if I should just buy a ticket anyway -- I am a stressed type of person so the lack of hassle might be worth the price of a ticket to me!

We'll be facing this on our next trip with our 3rd son. I'm bringing a copy of his birth cert. in case we get questioned. I'll keep it very handy so I can pull it out fast and not hold up the line...for us or those behind us. :)
