Somewhere quiet for a phone call in the MK?

I'm part of a professional organization and just found out that my group wants to have a teleconference on one of my MK days about a project we're planning. It might be about 30 minutes, and I don't want to miss it so I'll need to find somewhere relatively quiet to talk (it's really difficult to participate in a group call on an iPhone while trying to mute out background noise, so I'd rather not try to rely on that). I'm planning to be in the Fantasyland/Tomorrowland area during the timeframe that the group is looking to schedule the call. Would the Peoplemover work, or is there narration through the ride? (I've never been on it.) Any other ideas? If I can't find anywhere, I will probably just sit out on the call and ask someone in the group to update me afterward. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Peoplemover has narration. If you are in Fantasyland buy a drink and go sit on the 2nd floor of the Village House. They other "quiet" area is the bathrooms between Space Mountain and CoP. Usually decently quiet over there.

The People Mover would not work. First of all, there is narration. Secondly, there will be people sitting a few feet away from you who would not want to listen to one side of a conference call. I would try somewhere on the path between Space Mountain and Goofy's Barnstormer. You might get some put-put engine noise from the Tomorrowland Speedway or a train whistle or two.

There's the walkway between Barnstormer and Tomorrowland that should be fairly quiet. There's a rest area near Pete's Silly Sideshow that used to be a FP kiosk area. Not sure how quiet that is though.

Here's a map by our own Robo from a couple of years ago which shows the "secret path" in orange:

the path is where the gog park is for service dogs correct? that might help her.. are their benches..might be hot though.

Tomorrowland Terrace is rarely open and would be very quiet. You'll be in the shade and only people passing through to make noise. You can even sit at a table off the main pathway to further reduce the noise.

All great input - thanks for the detailed suggestions, everyone! I figured there was probably narration for Peoplemover, but if there wasn't then I was envisioning trying to get a car by myself (if it's even set up that way) - I definitely wouldn't want to disrupt anyone who was trying to enjoy a quiet ride!

Tomorrowland Terrace will be the quietest. The path between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland is right on the train tracks.

I would do Tomorrowland Terrace or even the smoking area - we've passed through there a few times by accident and it's always really quiet and well-shaded, so it's cool.

Not people mover.....but how about Tom Sawyer's Island?

First aid center would work too. Or top floor of harbor house.

I doubt the people using first aid for actual first aid would be happy to have to listen to one end of a conference call. Nor would the nurses. Harbor House (if open) would either be noisy with people eating, or an inappropriate place to have to listen to one end of a conference call, as people would be there eating quietly.

We've found the island to be full of kids running around and playing, and pretty loud. No guarantee of quiet, and you'd be trapped out there, unable to find a more quiet area.

The path to Tomorrowland can be quiet, as long as you stay away from the speedway end. And if you miss the train chugging by, and the noise from Barnstormer at the other end.

One pretty quiet spot is the far end of Adventureland, after Pirates.

I'll scope out some of these places on our first MK day. Tomorrowland Terrace sounds like it'll be a good spot with seating and shade. Josh at EasyWDW just posted a blog today that said the Tomorrowland QS is closed this week and he expects it'll be closed until Memorial Day weekend - so hopefully it'll be a somewhat quiet / low-traffic spot when I'm there in a couple of weeks.

you could leave the park, walk over to bus stop area or keep walking to CR lobby.

In fiscal 4th quarter 2016 we expect,,, "WELCOME FOOLISH MORTAL!" Increases of no more than 3.1 per cent "I AM YOUR HOST" with a possible 1.7 "YOUR GHOST HOST" If we are able to lower "I WILL LOWER THE SAFETY BAR":hmghost::hmghost::hmghost:

I actually thought about the area to the left of the Haunted Mansion along the water but you can hear the howling wolves from there :rotfl:.
