Was that balloon episode a hoax or what?

I don't even know the whole deal anymore. Apparently where the kid was hiding had food and games and stuff in it...like he could quickly grab all that if he was hiding when he was in trouble. Plus there's a few instinces of the kid saying they did for the show. The family has been on wife swap like 3 times and stuff. It just seems like a big hoax.

Hello! Wow, is all I can say!! I just finished reading your TR, it took a couple days but I managed to get completely caught up (I read your PTR too).

Standouts for me:

--Landon is too cute!! He is such a doll baby

--The MNSSHP, the tea cup pictures--LOVE the blurred background, shows the ride in motion which I think is great!

--You got some fantastic photopass pictures! Did you order your cd prior to leaving? I plan on definitely taking advantage of it.

--I am looking forward to trying several of the restaurants you tried: Akershus especially. We have eaten at Coral Reef before so I am tentatively planning this one again but I am not sure. It is getting such mixed reviews lately. We are also planning on trying CP and contemplating Tusker House after your glowing review.

Looking forward to seeing pictures of Landon's first birthday and the souvenirs you picked up.

Thanks! Glad you are here, too! I'm glad you like all the pics! I also think Landon is pretty cute, but I'm kinda of biased.

I did the pre-order for the PhotoPass thing but I did it after I got back. They just send you a code when you pre-order and then you type that in when you check out. It didn't matter that I was already home. (I don't know if that counts as cheating though...)

Akershus was good! We'll definitely be back, especially since my parents like being in the park BEFORE rope drop! I would also go back to CR in a heartbeat, I think we all would! I would only go to CP if you have Pooh fans, but definitely go to TH!! It was one of our favorites!!

We got some great souvenirs and I'll post them sometime next week! (I'm moving this weekend!)

hey! I just went to the place where I found the pre-order link and found this:

"The first is by pre-purchasing the PhotoCD. Recently the procedure for doing this has changed, so please read carefully! Guests who book a Walt Disney World vacation either online at the Walt Disney World website or over the phone directly with the Walt Disney World Reservation Center will receive an email from Disney approximately at the mid-point between booking the vacation and the check-in date or at 45 days, whichever is less. The email subject will be 'Disney Vacation Must Sees for the (name) Family' and will contain, amongst other information, a link to pre-purchase the Disney's PhotoPass PhotoCD at a discounted rate of $99.95 which also includes the ability to create a personalized Disney's PhotoPass card at no additional charge. In order for a guest to receive this email, however, the following two conditions must be met: (1) Disney must have the guest's email address on file; and (2) the guest must have given permission to receive promotional emails.

Eligible guests will also have the option to purchase the 'Ultimate Memory Package,' a combination of the PhotoCD, PhotoBook, Walt Disney World Photo Gallery CD and the personalized Disney's PhotoPass card.

Guests may also opt to purchase just the personalized Disney's PhotoPass card for $4.95 which includes standard shipping.

So it doesn't look like there's just a link you can go and click anymore. Hope that helps though!

And then I was talking to my mom about that this morning and she said he just started singing "It's a Small World" last night! Yay! So I don't think it will take too much arm-twisting to get back next year!

Definitely still a cruise! My dad was telling me that he'd rather just do WDW then a cruise, but I'm like how about WDW again in 2010 and then our cruise stays in 2011?! That's my plan...he can do whatever he wants, its not like he pays for me or anything!

Our first night this year, we talked to this guy who was telling us how much money he spent to take the grandkids to all the parks and stuff and when he asked him what their favorite part was, they all said the pool!
What is it with kids and water?! What age do you think the water parks are good for kids?

can't help with the waterparks...I have never really made it...in '97 we walked into TL and turned around and left --it was way too crowded and went back to the pool...but, I would probably say when the big slides are what they are looking for (or what you are looking for) if you stay in a mod resort most young kids love the pool there!!!

Thanks for the info! I agree with Kimmy, people can be so ridiculous! I hope they get in trouble for it. But that's just me.

Kimmy: Wonderful news about maybe getting to go back to WDW next year! If you go in March, make sure it's not Spring Break time. It is absolutely horrible with crowds during that time. Trust me, I've done it twice! Have no desire to go again during that time. We went after Thanksgiving in 2006 and the Christmas stuff was up then. It wasn't too crowded either, which totally spoiled us for the next two times we went (IN MARCH). Ugh.

That's pretty much our history with WDW as well. The first time we went, I had been wanting to go my whole life and it was enough that we were able to go. (We originally went with my in-laws to visit extended family in FL and decided to go to WDW while we were there. Our 1st trip was only 3 nights and 4 days!) We had an incredible time and have made it happen again every year since.

As far as kids and pools go Allison & Luke are right there with the others! They looooove the pools!?!?! We haven't been to any water parks yet, but I do see them in our future. I never saw the benefit of taking tiny ones to water parks when the pool/water feature was just as much fun for them.

Ah, November 9th! Monday Night Football: my house!

That's true. The mod resort pools look so great!! Landon already loves the pool a ton! And he goes CRAZY splashing during bath time! So cute!

I believe they are being charged with 4 different things, 2 of which are felonies. So ridiculous. You can google it and lots of stuff comes up.
