Sometimes reality hits hard

I've been studying like crazy these last 2 years and whilst I've accomplished a lot, I've also SPENT a lot on courses, exams, materials, research and so on. About the same as two years at University. That's thousands of pounds. Sooner or later I'm gonna run out of money and I only hope that I am fully qualified to practice hypnotherapy on a therapeutic scale by then. It's my fault. I could have saved a bit had I not branched out into Life Coaching, CBT and NLP therapy. But that was always the plan - not just offer one therapy like everyone else out there, but to offer multiple therapies as I see fit. Unique. Feels good to be qualified thus far, but my wallet isn't thanking me!

To compound this, I have a terrible medication induced stutter - who wants a tongue tied coach, right? So even if I DECIDED to practice, I'd never make it. Another door in the way. Sigh.

Hey, don't give up. You've been earning the credentials. Try to think about what attracted you to learning about that in the first place. It's obviously something you are interested in. What are your goals? If it's not feasible to open your own practice, what can you do with your knowledge? Can you apprentice with an established practitioner? Maybe you do something academic. If you have the knowledge and skill, there's no reason that you can't do what you envision - it just may take some time and practice. Best wishes to you on that.
