The whole mug-sharing/pool-hopping taboo thing. I've never done these things, but it would never occur to me to observe others in this way while on vacation.

I also didn't know there were any gas stations left in America where attendants pumped gas for its patrons -- let alone that this was the law.

I never heard about CVS-ing. It seems like an awful lot of work to save a few bucks. I also would never buy items just because they were on sale and hoard them, if I had no interest in ever using them. A sale item isn't really a sale item if you had no intention of buying said product.
