I pose this question as we begin to play our yearly June trip. We went to IHOP for breakfast Sunday and started playing around with our 7 parks in 8 day plan as usual. Now we can not put anything in stone as we cant see park hours and the such until March. But that would be another thread all together...LOL.

Well anyways...we are doing it again. As we talk and plan, plan and talk, compare this year to last, laugh and plan, we did it again. This is where we can all have some fun, at each others crazy Disney habits or moments.

Ours is this....we will be at Disney for at least three, maybe four days before we visit MK. I know I know I know, but that is how our schedule works best for us.

So I say...what is your thing that we might find a bit weird.

I would have to say for us, it would be that we actually LIKE camping at Fort Wilderness, and that the castle is NOT the first thing we have to see or even that big a deal. For us it is finally getting on Pirates or Haunted Mansion.

I can hear you all saying, "Really??!!" even now . :rotfl2:

We used the Delux DDp and had 3 TS meals nearly every day.

The kids could see the characters and we saw them as scheduled stops/breaks. Just because there is THAT much food doesn't mean you have to eat it ALL.

We liked the All Stars and thought there was plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 kids & all our stuff.

For us, we LOVE the AllStars. True, we can't afford the Deluxes, but we wouldn't want to. We love the Over-The-Top theming of the AllStars. We often dine at various resorts and we always are happy to go back to our "home", ASSp. We have said it before and will say it again, if we wwon the lottery tomorrow we'd stay at the AllStars, we'd just stay a whole lot longer!!!!

We wanted to do DVC, but have no desire to stay anywhere but the values.

Probably that we will be there for 7 days and likely won't ride, Test Track, Mission Space, Tower of Terror, Rockin Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, Thunder Mountain Railroad or Space Mountain.

Good lord, now that I see it in front of me, why are we even going? :rotfl2:

I totally agree with you on the Haunted Mansion front, possibly one of the best Disney rides.. ever.

haha our weird thing is that we never watch the parades or fireworks! It's a great time to ride stuff!

Anyways, my weird thing: I didn't like Wishes

It was okay.. but.. not as great as I was expecting.

I don't like fantasmic.. ( i know , i know ... don't throw stuff) :)

if it makes ya feel any better, you're not alone. I have a "friend";) who doesn't get it, and feels that it's not cohesive... but on to my thing;

ok, here goes, I um well, I ... schedule bathroom breaks. There, I said it. It's out there (although, in my defense, DD has a kidney anomaly and has to "go" on a schedule which can be tough to remember at WDW.)

Mine is that I secretly find the World Showcase boorrriinnggg, and I actually wouldn't mind skipping Epcot. If it weren't for Soarin', I probably would! Can't believe I just admitted that on the DIS!!!

I didn't really care for Epcot either. Last year we skipped World Showcase entirely, but decided to give it a shot this year.

Just thought I'd let you know you're not alone :wave2: I don't really "like" Wishes either. It's ok, but I wouldn't cry if we didn't see it on our trip. Now Illuminations, THAT I LOVE

I have never been on IASW and never plan to go on it in the future. That's an ear worm I can do without.

Add me to this list!

I also find the adult beverages in Epcot to be nasty. Grand Marnier Slushie :crazy2: Triple layer margarita :scared:

I guess mine would be that I can go and spend a long weekend at a Disney resort and not go to the parks at all. My favorite resort for this is WL. I don't feel like I'm missing anything - it's not like the parks are going anywhere. The resorts are great for a de-stressing weekend.

I probably only spend about 50% or less of my "awake" time in the parks even on the longer trips.

I think mine is that I would never stay ............................. on-site (the only POSSIBLE exception would be AKL for the animals and early safari things) . I don't really like hotels and have been in a few of the deluxe ones (GF & polynesian) for a visit. But found them to be immesely boring! I like stayin in a villa, where it feels like home & u can get really comfy. Id also never do the dining plan, as I feel it'd be a waste of money!

There iv said it...............Please don't hate me!

ok, count me in with those who just don't see what all the fuss is about over Fantasmic.

And I'm deathly afraid of Soarin. Hated it. Hated it. Hated it. Felt like I was going to plummet to my death. I can ride any old thrill ride, I love thrill rides, but I cannot do Soarin. (for that matter I can't stand ferris wheels either, and if DIsney ever got one of those I'd avoid it like the plague) Soarin was too much like a ferris wheel for me.
