Something Wierd we do not know about you???

Hey, I don't have kids but when I'm at home my husband and I will sometimes watch Seseme(sorry if it's spelled wrong) street just because it brings back memories. Also I'm a very clean person and I CAN NOT go one day without taking a shower. I shower everyday twice a day. once in the morning and once at night. Just the thought of all those germs freaks me out!!:scared: :scared: I teach so I'm even more freaked out at work and I'll wash my hands many times through out the day.

I can't remember people's faces. I have to meet someone over and over again to remember what they look like. It's very embarrassing running into people in town or at the kids' school and when they say hello, I can't remember who they are. I even have problems with recognizing my kids' teachers until I see them several times.

It is sometimes even so bad that when I am watching in a movie and two characters look similar, I get confused. They should always have characters that look totally differrent.:lmao: I can remember everything I read though. I have never heard of anyone else having this problem.

This is so me. People say hello to me & I have to act like I know them. It's very embarassing, especially when it's a dh co-worker who he introduced me to awhile ago & they see me on the street, I have no clue who they are.

My memory is getting so bad that when commercials come on during a show, I forget which show I had been watching before it comes back on. Actually that was happening a lot awhile ago but not so much now. Maybe too much on my mind then.

I'm sorry this happens to you but it's comforting to know this happens to other people besides me!

had a fish when I was little who jumped out of his bowl in the middle of the night. I found little Flounder with my foot in the morning.

this honestly would have done me in.... :faint: :faint:

Alright as you can see i am verrry bored and it's time to share...

share something wierd we do not know about you.....

Here goes....

When i was younger, i used to live in an apartment for a couple years and below me lived an ELVIS impersonator! he dressed that way and talked that way even in the middle of the day! i had to have been no more than 6, but it sticks out in my mind to this day!!

PS i'm a HUGEEE ELVIS fan!

I have posted it before...but it is still the weirdest tidbit about me.

I had a step-dad named.....ELVIS! His given, birth certificate name. ELVIS.

(his middle name was not Aaron though and he looked nothing like him. His mother was a fan. Her nickname for him was Elvie)

I get the heebies from 'holes' - ESPECIALLY clusters of holes - your water issue, is my hole issue. They make me feel icky and practically sick....

Whoa...I thought I was the only one who felt that way!!! I have no idea what it is, but ...uggghhhhhh.

My other weird thing is that, even though it's not supposed to be possible, I have 2 freckles on the palm of my left hand.

Okay my weird personal things after reading the thread....

I too cannot stand grates...I walk around them and not on them and if I have to walk on them...I do so very quickly. I'm not afraid of me falling through--I'm afraid someting else important will...like my keys.

I cannot stand open windows at night. HEEBS me out. They must all be covered. I just took curtains down b/c they didn't match how we are doing our room. These windows I am okay with b/c they are high up and a person walking by can't just peek in.

I had clear side panels next to my front door that I bought that film-like stuff that sticks to it like a color form. It ain't the prettiest--but it covers since I coudn't find a small enough curtain rod.

I want a beautiful etched glass door. The problem---you can see through it. Like if you got close up you could see images clearly. If everything were frosted, I would be okay.

I just don't want the boogy man be able to see me in my house when I cannot see them.

Windows in the daytime...do not bother me.

ETA: The movie: "The Lake House".....well....I would have to have curtains throughout or something b/c ain't no way I could live in that place for 1 second.

Oh, and my great-great-great uncle's name was Quadik. And not only that, but he died when he was squished by a falling rock in a quarry.

some times I actually make sense.

glad to see others with fish phobias over here! i always think i'm in a verrryyy small minority! :fish:

Too many to list all but here are a few:

My hair was completely grey by the time I was 25.

I always sit with my back towards other diners in a restaurant. I don't like people watching me eat.

Like raw potatoes,bell peppers,uncooked spaghetti

We have contact paper on the windows in our door. It is a frosted diamond like pattern. It has been on the door since we built the house. The house is now 19 years old. You can pick it up at Home Depot or Lowes. Alot of people in our neighborhood copied us and put it up too. You can barely see shapes through it.

I have so many quirks it would take forever to list them. I think I spent too much time in the Anthropology department when I was in college.

I, too, cannot stand to walk over grates or walk over swinging bridges. I cannot stand to use really nice stuff because it would be ruined. I walk around the house when I brush my teeth because it is really boring to just stand there and brush. I will never again ride the rockets at the Magic Kingdom because I just know that the rocket will break off the spindle and send you spiraling through Tomorrow Land.

I, too, really, really hate the telephone. I worked in customer service for ten years so I do not make calls unless absolutely necessary and there are times when I completely ignore a ringing off the hook phone.

I was attacked in my apartment 20 years ago and I still have not got over it. So when my husband works at night I do not go to bed until I am so exhausted that I cannot stay up any longer and when I do sleep I have so many night lights everywhere that I may as well leave the lights on. I do not get much sleep. I am very weird.
