Ok...here's something that doesn't make sense to me...

Disney Rep's say that Cinderella's Royal Table is their most popular restaurant out of all of the Disney Dining restaurants...

However, I'm going to Disney 8/28-9/4 for free dining and can't get ONE reservation to Le Cellier, but can find at least 4-5 openings for Cinderella's castle...can anyone explain why it's like this? Any theories??

The only thing I can think of is that Cinderella's Castle takes 2 TS credits, but even so, the Disney Reps say that Cinderella's Castle is usually booked within the first 15 minutes of each new day (when it's 90 days in advance).

I think that definitely used to be the case with CRT, but IMHO, believe that between it being 2 TS credits and receiving many sub-par reviews over the years, AND the addition of Akershus for 1 TS (plus the photo package) it has become a popular, but not "most popular" ADR. When I made my ADR a few weeks ago, I went after Ohana for dinner first, then Chef Mickey's, then CRT. I got the time I wanted, for breakfast, on the day I wanted....

I also think that the Disney CM's aren't neccessarily most up-to-date on their facts, but I can't blame them....Disney has a lot to keep up with!!

Are you seeing CRT available for breakfast, lunch or dinner? CRT is more popular for breakfast and lunch, less so for dinner, as the princesses are not there for dinner.

Not for our family of all boys. I actually tell my boys that if they don't behave, I'm changing ALL of our meal reservations to the princesses.

Completely random guess, but perhaps it's because the kiddies are going back to school about when your trip begins. If it's more adults traveling to WDW, then I'd say they're more likely to book Le Cellier than a character meal at CRT.

Yes. Cinderella greets and you get your picture taken with her.

I think it is because CRT is 2TS credits per person and Le cellier is only one. BUT Le Cellier, Chef Mickeys, Ohana are all very popular these days
