My DD is almost 5, we are taking her to BBB at DTD next week - what are some recommendations for something special we can do with her after her appt? We are not going to a park that day. I was thinking 1900 park faire dinner, but can't get an ADR. :'(

Any suggestions???

Honestly, I think half the fun of taking a little girl to BBB is going to a park and letting all the people and characters ooh and aww over her! And getting special pics done.

If you still aren't going to a park, any dinner will do.The CM's will treat her special!

Keep trying for that ADR, there may be a cancellation. You can get her pictures taken afterwards at Downtown Disney. The BBB people can tell you where to go, I think it was in the guest services building. They can add the photos from the session to your photopass. Have fun!!!

Resort hop and take lots of pics of your princess with beautiful backdrops (is she likes posing).
Anywhere she goes she WILL be treated like the princess she is!

I would get the 1900 Park Faire for another night and the rearrange your BBB time. From what I have read on the threads, getting into BBB at Downtown Disney is fairly easy to do, easier than getting an ADR.

Or, I would change the BBB to a day that you would be going to MK so you could at least take her to meet the princesses in Toontown. You could also try getting an ADR at Akersaus and go to Epcot.

I know it is hard to get an ADR at last minute. If u can try to switch the day of the BBB. I agree with the other post that my dd got a kick out of people making such a big deal out of her. I was lucky enough to have had lunch reservations at the Castle but she played it up all day. Both dd have BBB appt in 2 wks and I dont have a special meal planned that day but they love it so much i did not want to disappoint them. Here is Princess Isa"bell"a from 2007. She had a chin length hair. I just found out how to post pics. Sorry if it too big. I will try to make changes next time.

I agree with everyone else, the kids seem to enjoy everyone fawning over them in the parks. After we did BBB we had breakfast in the castle and the Fairy Godmother was outside. DD had the biggest grin on her face all day and I swear she walked like she was made of glass so nothing got messed up!

Don't give up on that ADR. About a week and a half before our trip in May, I decided that I wanted to do a princess meal as an early Mother's day present (for myself ;)-- I have two preschool boys, so princesses were not on our originaly ADR list). I only had one evening where I was willing to give up our current ADR for eating with Princesses. I called the dining line everyday, and just a few days for our trip and ADR at 1900 PF opened up! So, it does happen. Also, I would agree with the PP's that you might want to try for a dinner ressie for any day during the week, and then try to switch the appointment at BBB. Good luck! --Katie

Did you try the Princess Tea Party in the Grand Floridian? I plan to take my DD4 to BBB in Downtown Disney next week and she has an ADR at the Tea Party right after. I think she will love it!!:lovestruc
