Something Special..Ideas

Ok here's the deal.. I think I went a little overboard on our last trip. It was our first trip and I wanted it to be special - also I didn't think we'd be going back fo awhile..who knew
Anyway, last trip we did the Family Magic Tour, the Behind the Seeds tour, MVMCP, Cindy's for dinner, the Sci-Fi, Rain Forest Cafe and Whispering Canyon. So now my question is what's left?? We are doing MVMCP again and the Sci Fi. My kids will be 14,11,8 (too old for the Family Magic Tour again??)
Can anyone think of something cool for kids of these ages? I thought about Disney Quest and mini-golf but I just don't know.
By the way I told them no surprises this trip and they were totally ok with that..I'm the one who wants a little something extra for them.
Any Ideas??

Have you seen Cirque? Your 8 year old may be just a tad young, but the other 2 would probably enjoy it. I know me and DH did.

A bit expensive but I truly believe Cirque is a special thing to do! It is fabulous and I think all of yours kids ages will "fit".

I would really disagree about the 8 year old being too young for Cirque. What an absolutely amazing and breathtaking show!! It's great for kids and adults.

Or, what about a Wishes or Illuminations Cruise?

Renting Water Mice one afternoon at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts?

Renting a Surey Bike one evening at the Boardwalk?

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's?

There is more than you know it left for you to experience. Here are a few ideas off of the top of my head....

1. Cirque - A *MUST* for your family. I know your kids would enjoy it.

2. Restaurants - Pick up Birnbaum's Dining Guide for WDW. It has every eatery listed plus pictures. Chef Mickey's would be a fun place for breakfast offhand as well as Boma for an adventurous dining experience.

3. Make sure you are taking full advantage of the parks. Afterall, that is why you are going there! Don't jam pack your vacation with the special "extras' when you have not fully experienced MGM Studios, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney (including Disney Quest), and the water parks.

my son was 7 when we 1st went and its his favorite thing to do
another favorite is hoop dee doo

My son was 6 when he first saw O in las Vegas - we were there for Nascar and he loves it .

Am I allowed to suggest a day at discovery cove. Of course this is very expensive and you might not want to go off site.
Actually isn't there a dolphin tour at Epcot...Dolphins in depth or something.

There is a dolphin and diving tour, but I am not sure of the age restrictions myself. It is listed online and in Birnbaum's WDW Guide.

I second Hoop-Dee-Do. It is a fantastically funny dinner show and would not cut into Disney parks time. Great food, service, and show.
