Something special for my grad son?

We are going to be in Disney mid April and will be staying at the POR. My son will be done with high school in just 2 days and will be an early graduate!! We are planning this trip as a gift to him. DO you know of any special things the resorts or restraunts will do to make his trip special? I'd like it to be memorable. We have taken him to Disney 11 times prior to this trip thruout his growing years. Any suggestions? Are there any phone numbers I should have or fax numbers to use to submit requests?

Congrats on a high school graduate. I will have one graduating from college in May and one from high school in June. It is a pretty special time.

For our trip in AUg we are booking a Segway tour for them and their cousins, on of whom will also be graduating from college.

I was going to suggest the Segway Tour too, so I will second it. It is a lot of fun.

Try posting this on the teen board also, you might get some good suggestions.

A segway tour is a great idea (DS17 has always wanterd to do that), I'd also suggest the meal with an imagineer which some friends have said they enjoyed. (if you think he'd like it, they said there DS19 did). If he's into food take him to V&As, you could also do something at the Wide World of Sports (not sure what the age is to drive a race car, DH did it a while back).

I would call the cake hotline & order a cake to have at one of the table-service restaurants. There are some as inexpensive as $12.50 (I believe) or more pricey ones. There is an entire thread devoted to cakes (with lots of pictures) somewhere here on the DIS.

I ordered one for my DD's b-day dinner last summer. I think it was around $25.00.
