Hi there

Very experienced WDW travelers here looking for something special to do. Participants are Mom, and dd's 6 and 8 years old during a 6 day girls only trip! Could be a park tour as long as its ok for kids as young as 6 or something outside the parks but on property as we don't rent a car and depend on WDW transporation. The girls and I take a trip alone every year and this year I want to do something special. Seems like everything is either geared for kids only or adults only. IE - they have done the pirate cruise and the kids tea party and dear mil and I have done the GF tea and dh and I have done a MK tour. Any ideas on a tour or special treat that we "girls" can do together?

Perhaps something in Epcot or maybe the AK?

TIA
TJ

There is the new Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot (Norway) that you might like.....

How about getting manicures together? I think the Spa at the GF offer manicures for young ladies. Maybe you get your hair braided on the Boardwalk and go to the Ice Cream social at the Garden Grill in Epcot. I can't remember the name of it but isn't there a tour at MK for families with a character meeting at the end?

MNT568, I think it's the Family Magic Tour. It sounds like lots of fun, it's sort of like a scavenger hunt but it's not. It involves Peter Pan and Captain Hook....something like you have to save something or someone from Hook and you go all over the park doing different things to get clues? There was a thread a couple months ago about it. It's not too expensive either, like $25per or so? That's what I would like to do with DGD next time.

Are you annual passholders? There is (or at least WAS) the MK scavenger hunt.....100 challenging MK questions that you answer as you tour the park. They were available at Exposition Hall I believe.

Well, my DD liked going to MK, just the 2 of us, without DH. We could shop, ride what we wanted, see as many characters as possible, watch the parade, etc. We also enjoyed doing MGM this way.

Another thing you might want to do together is the Tea at the Grand Floridian. I have heard it is a nice little outing for mother's and daughters.

We have also done the Storybook Princess breakfast together, which was alot of fun, and when it was over, we rode Test Track twice, and Journey to Your Imagination, walked through World Showcase looking for characters, and then hopped on a boat to MGM.

DD and I also like to go to DTD to shop and get our pins... and don't forget to get a sundae at Ghiridelli's while you are there!
