Something screwy with point borrowing

I am trying to add an extra day to our reservation next month (it would have to be a different room category). I have a few points I can borrow and I was planning to figure out how to do OTU points. So I was walking through adding the night to see what happens and it seems to think I have 80 points I can borrow from my AKV contract instead of the 3 I think I should have?!?

So you’ve already borrowed 77 points from that use year? Is your kidani contract resale? The amount of points available to borrow hasn’t been tracking correctly on the website for many of us with resale contracts (both of mine are doing that) and I think this has a lot to do with the online borrowing glitch for most members (some lucky ones are unaffected but some people with direct contracts can’t borrow either).

Yes, Kidani is resale. So what do I do? If I borrow the points, will it be canceled? Will the points get returned to their use year? It won't allow me to proceed without borrowing the points. Do I have to call?

I would call and not chance booking it going over the limit. I am still capped.

If you try to borrow it just won’t go through, it will error out. If you just call they can borrow the 3 points. You have to call anyway for the OTU points, so at least you don’t have make an extra phone call!
