Please tell me because I never even thought of it!! I just read on another thread about conserving towels or washing them. It dawned on me that there is prob no housekeeping in the timeshares? Is this correct? If so please give me a quick crash course so I know what to expect? Do we need to fill up dishwaher before leaving, strip down the beds and wash sheets,
do they give us a week supply of towels? What else do I need to know????
Is there dishwasher soap? shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms?

You get a towel refresh every fourth day. You can use a towel a couple times, or wash them if you like.
You can pay for a full cleaning if you wish, but most of us like it better without being disturbed. You get a full cleaning if you're staying longer than a week.

Do we need to fill up dishwaher before leaving, strip down the beds and wash sheets,
No

Yes

Have fun! :)

You can order extra towels at a price of $6 for a 4 pack. There are small soaps and conditioning shampoo, no separate conditioner. They will replenish them when they do the trash and towel. No W/D in the studios if this matters but there are community units free of charge other than the soap with one small single serving provided, also replaced on towel day. Dish detergent and DW powder are provided. If you are in a studio there is likely more kitchen info that you need as well.

Dean, I'd heard that that Disney has changed products recently, to separate shampoo and conditioner, as well as adding a small bottle of body lotion.

You don't need to fill the dishwasher or strip the beds before you go, but we usually strip the beds and pile the linens in the middle of the bed. I figure it might help the housekeepers a little to have this already done for them. We make sure the refrigerator is empty, try to have all the trash consolidated into one place and all the towels in the tub.

If you stay at least 8 nights, you get a full cleaning on day 4 and your trash removed and towels replaced on day 8. The cycle repeats if you stay longer. If you stay less than 8 nights, you don't get a full cleaning and only get trash and towels on day 4.

The studio and one bedroom get 4 bath towels, two hand towels and four face cloths. The two bedroom gets that times 2. The GV gets that times 3.

We are find without the housekeeping.

It wasn't so in Dec but it would make my wife and I very happy if they had separate conditioner. They used to have the lotion but I haven't seen them in a while.
