Well I broke down due to pressure from the DW and CB board members and spent three hours shopping today and purchased a new pair of shoes I still do not see what is wrong with the old ones, they are just getting broken in The new ones are so white I am afraid to wear them DW is out may be I will hide them for a couple months until I am more comfortable with this I included a disney characture in the photo since it is the one I am compared to quite often. I can be a little stubborn when pressured into these situations of purchasing new things when there is nothing wrong with the old reliable things Did I mention I just love shopping too

I think all you have to do to the old ones is just clean them up. Some cleaner and then some white shoe polish.

Patrick, just dont do what I did today and grab one of each! I was in a hurry and grabbed my shoes put them on, and ran out the door. We were going into the resturant when I looked down....low and behold, there was one new white shoe and one dirty old shoe. Boy was I embarassed!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it is about time....I think I saw those other sneakers at DIS Con last year. You best not hide them for a couple of months I think the white ones are nice. I think you should give the others a proper funeral...

I have found that mowing the lawn in brand new sneakers is a quick way of down grading them.....

They turn green and they begin to smelll....
