Talking about meeting our future spouses, school, etc.
I was a nerd, too in high school. Honor roll. Never been in band, but was in Concert Choir for 2 yrs and Drama Club. Never dated in HS. but I did go to one dance- Turnabout dance(I think it was called?) Where you ask the guy to the dance. Started dating when I was out of HS. I seemed to gravitate to date guys that were a little older than me.
I met DH at the church I attend, that I still attend. We had a HUGE singles ministry back then at the church. It was almost a meat market/ dating thing going on at the time. I asked DH out, as he was pretty shy.
Dated for 10 months, engaged for 9 months. I was 26 and he just turned 32 when we got married.

I work in a good ole boy network. I'm used to all the guys getting promoted before me. Service anniversaries are rewarded. Education is not. If Mike's paycheck didn't go into my bank account, now THEN, I'd be mad.

It is on NOW... just started. The race is in Atlanta. Brad & I had passes to go, but we couldn't work out babysitting... so the tv will have to do.

i almost bought my air 2 weeks ago for $215.
then it went up to $230 now it is at $275..........


that makes me sick.......

if i wait long enough, i should be able to buy my air at $400....

Ummmm.... That doesn't exactly look like a "Jodie" & a "Mike".

Can you believe DS actually said - you two have to stay in your bedroom - you can make out?? I thought this was funny, but DH did not. After we ate, I went to the bedroom alone and DH stayed awhile longer with the boys, then he went to the messy cold downstairs room.

He's such a party pooper. Ya got a green light from the kiddo. What more does he need.

We had a pretty bad night here too. Pouring rain all night and now the winds are trying to uproot the trees!

The wind has been wicked lately, hasn't it? We have tree limbs laying everywhere. It's nice here today finally.

That makes me miss Gemma! Of course, with Gemma's pui's, you usually couldn't understand her. At least I understand these.

I've been meaning to ask.... What happened to Gemma anyway?

Those arrangements look yummy. I may order one for our trip to New Orleans, or I may just order one for my DH for Easter. That way I get to eat it sooner.

And the DH thing? Yeah, Brad is the same way. He can fall asleep and wake up like he's turning a lightswitch on and off. Need to get up? Flick! He's awake. Time to go to sleep? Flick! He's asleep. Makes me mad sometimes.

Kenneth's that way too. He can take a 3 hr. nap, then go to bed in an hr., & fall asleep w/i 5 minutes. It kills me.

So DH gave me a gift card to Coach awhile back and from the nice people there I got a 25% off coup. So what did I do yesterday . Shop ! Well I got for my trip to USF/IOA a Hip Bag and some flip flops. Very Happy NOW . I am almost ready just need a swim suit and then I am ready to go .

I can't spend that much time ketchuping...I woke up with a really sore throat this morning whe DH came in from work and I just woke up. My sweet little Jacob is gone to the kitchen right now to get me some water and cold medicine.

one of my sons had a bd this week and i can't imagine him getting married this young....
he did give his gf a promise ring on his birthday.

had a wicked headache when i got up and when back to bed. DH has a cold and around my eye just hurt. little better now, but feel a cold coming on.

Is your headache gone? BTW, I'll take the Devil Rays, even though they always stink.

My hugest pet peeve is that my cabinets don't go all the way up to the ceiling. I think that is the cheesiest look EVER, and of course that's what I have now. It's just a sloppy look, and I CAN'T STAND it in my house!

My cabinets don't go to the ceiling either. If they did, I'd have to have a ladder to reach the bottom shelf.

DM is a massuese, isn't he? I'd say I'd bring my tanning booth, but the darn thing is too heavy to move again!!! We nearly killed our 14 year-old.... We said that when we win the lottery and MOVE to Florida, we'll buy a new one and have it installed and LEAVE this one here at what will then be our vacation home.

Robotics part 2

Someone asked why James was wearing pink. His team color is pink. Stands out in a crowd.

His girl "friend" is the one on the right. she's the one who painted the strips on his face. They were both sitting in front of me at one time, and she put the feathers on his head. I whipped the camera out and took the picture of him that I posted the other day!

I really like seeing all the girls that are getting involved. (Sorry, this picture won't resize.)
