Hey everyone!

OK I'll give you the rundown for the weekend...I will post pics of the bro's head when my sis uploads them onto the computer....

OK....leave Fri morning during the snowstorm...takes about 2 hours to get to Rutgers (not that bad). Get there to watch the bro swim and their relay makes ECAC's (the next level of swimming)...which means he has to swim this coming weekend.

Leave the pool and head to Denny's Mmmmmmm....

Check into the hotel and it is nice, indoor pool and everything.

Drop our bags, relax for a little bit and head back to the pool for finals. Watch my bro swim again and go back for some shut eye.


Here is where our night gets interesting.....

We hit the sack and are awoken at 2 am. A rowdy group of drunks were put in the room across the hall. They were slamming doors, running in the halls, screaming, and carrying on. So we called down and told them what was going on and the front desk said that they would send security up. So 2:30 am rolls around and it hasn't gotten any better!!! So I call again, and no one answers!!! I keep trying til 3 am. Well I doze on and off and at about 6 am the noise finally stops.

NOT THAT IT MATTERS NOW!!

So we get up and change. Well still exhausted, I go down to the front desk and decide to "share" our night with the manager. Well the front desk apologized and said that they will check the security tapes and get back to us.

We were also told that we would receive 500 starpoints.....(we are part of the Starwood Preferred Guest Program and get points.......hotels typically are 3000-4000 pts. per night) for any trouble.

Well at that point we had to leave for the meet....watched the bro swim (again) and went to Fuddrucker's for lunch....DELISH!

Then back to the hotel. My sister, DF, and I took a short swim and then showered up.....and guess what, still no call from the manager!

Well after I was dressed I spoke to another manager and explained the entire situation. The two mangers apologized and asked what they could do. I had told them that 500 pts. would not make up for the "worst night we have ever spent at a hotel." The manager told us that we would receive 4000 points and would treat us to breakfast.

Well we went back to the meet for finals and then back to the hotel. While we are watching TV, someone knocks on the door and says "room service". We open the door and find that management sent us a fruit and cheese plate

Finally get a good night rest and go down to the breakfast buffet. My dad was in awe! Fresh omelets and hot sausage! The meal for the four of us would have been $50!!! But we got it for nothing!

So we check out and watch my bro swim for the rest of the day and head home.

Now we have to decide if we want to go to Pittsburgh or not....we shall see!

Trust me if I could I would cause when I was younger we lived in St Pete and I loved it there until my mom got home sick and we moved back to KY

Kaitlyn went under anesthesia twice in her early years and did fine. At 3 or 3.5 for ear tubes (that was a quickie) and at 5 for surgical repair of her thumb (that was a 1.5-2 hour thing) She was born with her thumbs kinda hooked inward (left is still at a 60 degree angle and the right was REALLY bad a 45 degree angle) towards her hand. I forget what it was called, but THAT was a really long summer in 2 casts (her thumb had pins in them too)

anyway - sorry about the digression - I really hope all goes well and be sure to let the little guy know we are thinking about him

joshua will do fine tomorrow.

it is mom that i am concerned about.

her right hand was repaired, the left was not. she is right handed and it was the worst of the two sooooooooo

my condition is not the fifth finger one but the middle and thumb.
ask jodie which way my thumbs go. mine only move backwards.

Well, I tried catching up on posting, but I really don't feel like it today. I'm afraid I've herniated another disc. I'm going to dbl. up on my pain pills & see if I can't get as high as Janet's mom. I hate going to the dr. I feel like I live there as it is. If I continue to get worse, I'll have to soon. If you all get a chance, please say a prayer for me. I could really use it.

Ok here is what you do...

When you run across those posts come over here, tell us you are referring to something stupid in another thread, then vent away about it. That way we can get our chuckle out of it and you can vent off some steam. It just isn't the same without you at least saying hi or something else regularly. We really do miss you.



Now I have to run to a baseball scrimmage that I knew nothing about. Mikey sent me a text saying they were on their way. He left the house without any money this morning. Scrimage is an hour away so I won't be around tonight. Someone please remind me that I have only read through page, crap gotta go back and check it.

Afternoon/evening peoples...I thought I would share some pictures of my Azaleas and Orange Blossoms that are blooming. The Orange Blossoms have a smell I can not describe...they smell heavenly. I also included one of the new chair.

There are plenty of houses for sale in my area. I'm trying to get Mac and Brab to move down...come on down. You'd love it!

We got the night for free, free breakfast, and room service....I'm happy....but a lesson is welcome!

if they want your repeat business, they should have thrown in a discounted or free room for a future stay.

the food they give for free is nothing for them.
if the hotel is at 90% occupancy the night you got it for free, then that freebie didn't effect them financially.


go for the future stays next time.

You know that makes me to think just because your low income that you get labeled as the ones that change your babies on the park benches and your ghetoto and I take offence to that cause my family falls into the low income and we are not that way and don't worry homies I didn't post
