I probably won't be back on tonight because I'm about to go tell him to go to bed... since he isn't any help to me at all... and he clearly needs the rest more than I do...

Hi Guys
I'm around, trying to ketchup!

One more weekend, than we should be able to get the house on the market.

The kids spent most of yesterday without power. There was a bad accident nearby. Two large trucks collided, a trash truck and a dump truck. Killed one person and the other is in critical condition.

I work about a mile from home. We had power there, but no internet. Pretty boring day as most of my Monday work entails sending listings over the internet that we want to advertise in different publications.

So today was doubly busy. Made the day zing right by!

Hope all you sickies are feeling better soon.

you were missed when you were MIA the last day or so.

Come on down. We'll let you cook for us.

I'm heading to bed early tonight...I think I'm starting to come down with a cold and I can't be sick right now.

Sorry to our guys here in this thread, we know you are the exception to the rule but MEN ARE SUCH BABIES WHEN THEY ARE SICK! I swear any little thing with my dh and you would think he was gonna die. Sorry Brad is no help Tricia. If Ally weren't sick I would hop in the car and come help you. Man I really need to get moved!

freakin' tiki bird show still has me screaming......dont like totem poles either. we went in....sitting next to what i thought was a support beam, turned out to be a moving totem pole, screamed my head off.....was traumatized for at least 30 minutes. go ahead and laugh. the whole damn place did.

for a minute, i thought you were going to break into song by the gatlin brothers.

Do you guys realize we are fixing to roll over to page 100 in the new digs? We moved in permanently on Feb. 4th. At this rate we will be switching homes monthly!

i've been watching that.
once we hit 222 pages, i will start up Something about Nothing #3
we will have the longest running series in the joint then.........

Yep 250 pages then we have to start part 3! In 15 days we got to 100 pages. And there were quite a few days when we had so many sickies that things were very quiet for us!

Just a little non US political news. yes, political.

Hopefully, and i say this with a great amount of courage, and hope , with the resignation of Fidel Castro in Cuba today, MAYBE, JUST MAYBE someday that place will be democratically run again.

Imagine in 20 years a vacation down there for Americans.

Totally agree - I remember reading about how Cuba was THE place to go for people living in Florida and the south. This was hard for me to comprehend as it had been under Castro's rule for my adult life - and I never once thought - let's go to Cuba this year for vacation.

I don't know what this flu is, but oh my heavens it is kicking my butt.

I decided to take a shower this morning so I wouldn't smell when I take the boys to the doctor. I had to scream for Brad to come help me out because I thought I was gonna pass out.

I told Brad that I'm not sure I can get Joshua down to Atlanta tomorrow for his MRI. I know I couldn't today. I guess we'll see.

My head is starting to hurt again from holding it up, so I'm going to go lay it down again.

all in the crock pot - if DH doesn't smell it on St. Patrick's day, it just ruins the day for him (DFIL is the same way)

Yes there are times we can fill up 3 or 4 pages within 20 - 30 minutes, or so it seems. It is very nice to have such a big group that really likes each other.
