Well it hasbeen the computer day from he!! around here today. I am going to try to catch up now that everyone is in bed.

Jennifer - What did the doc say for your son to do? Did she prescribe something? He is a very smart boy!

Mary - Oh boy! A day with 8th graders. I think that would be worse than HS.

You really gotta wonder what some parents are thinking. Good luck with the dd starting to date. You know you raised her right. Trust her to do the right thing. And no, not all boys are that way. Most, but not all.

Oh and we got snow today. You & Katie can have it. We do not want it here in Oklahoma.

Wendy - Hope the eye is better. Make sure you take care of it. Sounds like that doctor was a good one. Don't get discouraged with the weight loss. We are proud of you!

Marcie - Glad you got your snow day and had a good birthday dinner too.

Sorry about the job situation. I worked for Xerox for 15 years and hated every minute of it. They have asked me if I want to come back & I just laugh at them. Absolutely know way. Life is to short.

Kevin - Welcome back. Come back more often to say hi.

MF - 20 pounds! Woo Hoo!

Janet - I bet you're right and will be getting a request for a check soon. Mikey just had two fund raisers and we are working on two fund raisers with the baseball booster club. Wonderful!

"...freezing rain, sleet and an ice storm after midnight..." Uh, yeah?

Loved the pics!

Didn't know dh was a sickie too. Hope he is better soon. How are you feeling?

Jodie - How is Savvy? Hope she made it okay and wasn't too mad at you. Sounds like a great feast for Super Bowl Sunday.

Since I had computer issues all stinkin day I have not seen the ads inside of posts. You have got to be kidding me!

Tracie - Mikey's doctor gave him a sample pack of the 500 (whatever) dse of Advair instead of the 250 to use for two weeks to bring it back into control. He used it last night & this morning and said he can already tell a big difference.

Madie had her antibiotic yesterday and this morning and was raring to go. She talked non-stop today. She is back home now but will be back tomorrow for the weekend. It's gonna be a fun weekend.

So do the guys get together for the basketball game? Sounds like fun.

Tricia - How did the cleaning go? Congrats on the Golden Homie Award!!!!
First, think of your metabolism as a lazy co-worker... someone who isn't a self-motivator
You mean kinda like Jodie's FUG?

That is great news about Joshua's bloodwork. Sorry your doc had to go out of town. Stay on them and make them do what you feel is needed. He does need to have the Dilantin levels checked.

I really hope you are able to go to Daytona. Don't feel guilty. You need a break.

Lawrence - Hi! Hope Mary Eva feels better soon.

Sharon - Glad you are feeling better. Hope it continues to improve. Great plan on the dating to begin with.

Barb - We missed you. Glad you were able to get some sleep and things taken care of.

DM - Have a great trip. Good luck on the job search when you return.

Rose - Good luck to Mathew in the show. Thanks for the congrats.

Penny - I had no idea that Keebler made Girl Scout cookies. That is very interesting. How is the foot/ankle?
Hope you had a great birthday?

And another wonderful poem!

Mac - If I had to shovel I would not go to work. Oh yeah, I don't go to work anyway. Never mind.

Katie - Wish I had some ideas for you but I have no imagination. You do a fabulous job! Can't wait to see this years.

Well after 2 hours and several more lock ups I am caught up. Hopefully I will be able to be online during the day tomorrow.

Good Morning All!

Friday it is Fletch:cool1:

i'm on a chicken in a bisquit cracker kick
Janet - Love these as well. The box lasts about one weekend whenever I get to buy.;)

Mary - are you in one of those "coaster clubs". That is   . Let us know when your program airs, so we can watch.

Tracie & Sharon - Also love Celebrity Apprentice. Loved the Big Croc bin. For once, Omarosa and I agreed. I can't believe this was her idea. Also, it seemed like none of the celebs had seen the shoes before???

MF woke me up!

So kids have a snow day!!!:cool1: Now I'm hoping to get the call that my office has issued a mother nature day. . . yes, we have mother nature days. . . it's very cool :thumbsup2 I might not make 100K a year, but man you gotta love those benefits    Come on phone, ring :goodvibes

Now. . . did dh charge the winter batteries on those 4 wheelers last night????

Marci - vent away about your job. Sorry it was so bad.

got a new chocolate brown pair for my birthday. no way on HIS green earth will i be giving any up.

MY NAME IS PENNY AND I AM ADDICTED TO CROCS
:lmao: This is what I thought as well. I only have 2 pairs, but until the tread wears out, they are stayin' with me.

I am no longer employed!

I'll be looking for work after I return from TX.
Sorry DM. Wow, tough day/week on the workfront for the DISers.

Katie those are great hairstyles.

Lawrence - hope wifey gets better soon! Seems like its been a long winter for the sickies.
I will and if I don't get any rest then thats ok cause she works so hard she deserves to be took care of when she is sick.
 What a sweetie of a husband!

Lori - Doc gave us some prescriptions. He is taking a pill "Doryx", he is using a night cream "Ziana", he is using a morning cream "Benzaclin". Also he has prescription "washcloth wipes" that are premedicated. You just open and wet and scrub your face with it. We use these morning and night before the creams. It is called "Prascion". She said he had a bad case and normal OTC would not clear it up.

Well - got to get ready for work. Today is "Shadow Day", in honor of groundhog's day tomorrow. My 15 year old nephew is coming to work with us today to "shadow" us. He thinks he may want to be an accountant when he grows up. So, we are taking him with us to our bank audit today. I told him if he wanted to do this he needed to wear a shirt, tie, and dress pants. And that we would be leaving office at 7:30am and returning by 6pm. He still wanted to come.:confused3

:) Jennifer

EWWWWWW!!! Huge snowstorm here. My son arrived home after leaving the University at 6 am cuz he wanted to make sure he got home for the weekend and is expecting his profs won't be able to make it to class. Lots of people are going to be stranded. Freezing rain headed this way too.

Glad I have the milk, eggs and bread already!

woo hoo.

february always means more snow !!

catch you when the skool bell rings at the end of the day...:teacher:

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST /7 PM EST/ THIS AFTERNOON...

THE CENTER OF AN INTENSIFYING WINTER STORM WAS LOCATED OVER FAR SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA EARLY THIS MORNING. THIS STORM WILL CONTINUE NORTHEAST TO NEAR INDIANAPOLIS BY 6 AM...AND TO NORTHWEST OHIO BY NOON.

BASED ON THIS TRACK...AND CURRENT RADAR AND SATELLITE TRENDS...SNOW... HEAVY AT TIMES WILL CONTINUE FALLING ACROSS THE WARNING AREA INTO MID MORNING. HEAVIEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS DURING THIS TIME WILL BE GENERALLY ALONG THE I-55 CORRIDOR...AND POINTS SOUTH AND EASTWARD FROM THERE. AN ADDITIONAL 4 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW CAN BE EXPECTED IN THESE AREAS.

FURTHER TO THE NORTH AND WEST...FROM THE ROCKFORD AREA THROUGH CHICAGO/S NORTH SUBURBS AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED.

BY THE TIME THE SNOW TAPERS TO FLURRIES LATE THIS MORNING TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 8 TO 12 INCHES.

SURFACE PRESSURES AHEAD OF THE STORM/S CENTER CONTINUE TO FALL RAPIDLY. THIS MEANS THAT IN ADDITION TO THE HEAVY SNOW...NORTHEAST WINDS GUSTING TO 30 MPH WILL CAUSE CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

THE COMBINATION OF HEAVY FALLING SNOW...SNOW AND ICE COVERED ROADS... AND FURTHER VISIBILITY RESTRICTION DUE TO BLOWING SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVELING EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN COUNTRY. TRAVEL IS NOT RECOMMENDED IN THE WARNING AREA THIS MORNING.

no snow day for skool.
they never close.

might only have a handful of students for first period as many seniors drive to skool.......

no wonder lori has the tropy.
look how thorough and thoughtful she is.

i'll piggyback off of her and say, ditto.

what a nice person!
she covers all the bases

It's not snowing here?:confused3 :beach:

Strangely enough, here neither! :confused3 We got maybe an inch last night. I still get school notifications from the Detroit area and it sounds like they're all closed there too. Really surprised yours isn't Mac!

Well, I'm off today! (Halleluia chorus!!) Going to deal with a sick 15 year old, go to a "foreign language fashion show" for DS12 (he's the narrator!), and get a perm since my hair is absolutely driving me crazy. I just hope the 15 year old isn't sick enough to interfere with the other plans! I went into his room when I got up at 6:20ish to sneak his cell phone out so GF wouldn't wake him up, but saw she'd already texted him at 6:20, 19, 18, 17, 16, and I'm sure before that but just glanced at the first screen. :rotfl: Luckily he'd still slept through it, but I took the phone.

Last night was the special pep band that the 8th graders got to play at for a high school BB game, so all 3 boys got to play together. Eric got to play an actual sousaphone (the round tubas that wrap around you for marching band) for the first time. Matt went, but definitely shouldn't have since he had a 101 temp before he left. But I bet you can guess why he had to go? Yes, of course, so he could sit next to GF! I told him she wouldn't appreciate it, but he said he'd already gotten her sick! :rolleyes1

Well, I'm going back to bed for a bit here as soon as I call in DS sick!
