It's okay Katie - I guess I'll still like you! See, I probably wouldn't care if it was baseball. Although I did get excited when the Tigers actually had a chance last year, but they blew it as usual (after waiting 20 years!).

Jennifer - I knew you were just kidding about the baklava - hope you could tell I was too!

And you wouldn't believe the number of people here who are determined to spell it Farve instead of Favre. DH was looking for something on ebay and the seller had it wrong the whole way through. DH emailed him and let him know he might get more bidders if he spelled the name right! (Hard to come up on a search if it's spelled wrong!)

Mac - I read the Seinfeld stuff in the paper here, but they kind of played up some people getting really upset about it. I hadn't neard that it was a superstition thing - just that he liked the show and they were pulling it while he was here. Just came off here as a joke that got some bad press.

DS12 loves the Yankees. DH and I are Pirate fans. The Yankees are finally coming to Pittsburgh in June. We are hoping to get tickets. Right now, unless you buy season tickets, you can't buy for the Yankee games. I also liked the Yankees when I was in my teens (loved the colors); DH is NOT a Yankee fan.

You know, I used to think that I wanted to live in Marcie's head. She imagines us all as young, attractive, etc, so why not? Sounds like a good place to live. However, after seeing the pictures of Marcie and family's ski trip (great pics, btw), I've decided that I don't want to live in her head anymore.

It's good to know that the bathroom door clearance thing wasn't just at my hotel.

I heard them mention the loss of elasticity thing on tv. I was able to say, "Hey, I already knew that!"

Have you ever seen the movie Something About Mary? I love near the end where Ben Stiller says, "Brett Fah-va-rah."

While everyone is busy with football (Barnyard is on my tv), let me post all by my lonesome.

when you pull down the options off the person's screen name and you don't see the option of sending pm, does that mean the person is banned?

i went to their last posting and clicked on their name for the menu.

I've never had that happen Mac. Have you tried going to your Private Message list and then choosing "Send New Message" and typing the screen name in the Recipient Username box? If it gets bounced back to you, then you'll have your answer I guess.

I can't believe ANYONE is at the game in Greenbay . I was watching but my DH went to sleep early for a night shift tonight and my DS 6 has no school in the morning so he is up playing the X-BOX Cars game .
