We have some of those too. From the year All Star opened. That was the BIG selling point at the time. Free refills for life, anytime you returned to the resort. Then people actually DID IT. Oooops! They didn't think people would actually save the mugs and remember to bring them back! Yanked that promo in a hurry...

mac never saw all the fuss about the dis refillable mugs...they hold 8 oz tops; waste of time imo since they're not good in the parks

Carol asked to borrow 2 cups of milk one day. I searched around and came up with a refillable mug and thought that'd be good since it has a cap. It wouldn't hold 2 cups.

Speaking of poop, Savvy had a vet appt today that upset her pretty much (rectal temp, blood work, etc). While in the car on the way home, I smelt something so FOUL I had to put the window down and I could still smell it. She was upset and desperately trying to get out of her carry-all. Good lord ... how could something so tiny and cute leave a deposit THAT smelly. No wonder one of work passwords is Smelly Cat!

I get to make my Palo ressies tonight for my DCL cruise. 105 days in advance. How the heck am I supposed to know when I want to eat in Palo tonight?!!

How are everyone's eyes, feet, and teeth? Those seem to be the big 3 lately!

How are everyone's NY's resolutions going so far (I haven't done squat yet)?

I guess that wasn't so shamelessly quick. Have to work on that next time.

Hi from the beautiful, balmy UP of Michigan once again! We went to a place skiing we hadn't been to before today and believe it or not, actually had a really good time, despite the weather. We all agreed it didn't seem that cold at all. I was wearing mittens and a couple times my thumbs got a bit cold but that was it. The ski conditions were great and everyone got to race, plus we just had a lot of fun overall.

Driving wasn't all that great because the (mostly 2 lane) roads weren't all cleared from yesterday's storm, but we still got there within an hour of opening and hardly anyone was there yet. This was a more gentle hill than we normally go to and I had fun feeling like a "good" skier for a change! I even went down a double diamond without tumbling!

We're at the hotel now - kids already swam and we went out for dinner. This hotel is $57 a night and nicer than the other one we stayed at. Paying the same for 2 rooms as for one tiny one at the Super 8! They're playing a card game now and I thought I'd catch up with you all!

Around here snow blower and snow thrower are used interchangeably, although you wouldn't call one of the huge ones a snow thrower. Usually that's the smaller ones (sometimes without a directional spout), but snowblower refers to either. But I get your point - we had to shovel twice more (last night and this morning) not because it was still snowing but because it was SO windy that it all blew back in drifts onto the driveway and I had all 3 of my boys out there working too!

We'll see how the temps go tomorrow! I actually saw 7 today, but it's supposed to be colder tomorrow! I'll try to catch up when I get back! Hold down the fort without me!

Hey ladies . I was just wondering i have a universal refillable cup I wonder if I should pack it? I am pretty sure it is from 2006 .I guess it can't hurt to pack it and see if it works . I am going to try to find it in the morning and see how old it is and what it looks like. you think I would remember it .


All I did all day was drive kids around I am so tired but still in this position .

My DD is having midterms , then she was off to the mall then she went with my other DD and her friends to the movies. All this and driving back and forth to 3 different schools i can't believe I wanted this when i became a parent .

Here's a question....do you ever get strange looks?? Like...wow! How old is this?? I haven't seen these around? Just curious because I can see buying them and carrying them for that trip....but if you see someone carrying one you don't see for sale, kinda makes ya wonder....

we now have 3 or 4 different refillable mugs, still unsure as to which (if not all) are lifers? thought i read somewhere that only the ones with an attraction pic on them are good - forever .....goofy kid had to pick up one of those green alien ones in MIB. When u hand it to a TM they practically seethe @ you ..... don't fit under the drink spouts & they have to hand-fill them from another cup.

Glad to hear Carol wasn't admitted...that's a good sign! Altho, if I'm tired, I go to bed and leave the boys to figure it out themselves. Rarely my boys are cold and I am always freezing....so, OUR rule is: If I'm cold, everyone is comfy. If I'm comfy/warm, everyone else is hot.... ...and, if I'm cranky...well, just don't bother then!

Sad to say but the way things are looking we may be staying offsite agian this year plus we may have to cut it from 7 days to 5 days this year but at least we will be at Universal and thats always a good thing
