Yep and still holding out for some serious mummy dust that will help us to at least get three of the days onsite but if not like I said atleast we will be there.

Well goodnight homies I am going to kiss the cat and put the wife out for the night.:rotfl2:

Well...when I saw you posted here, I checked there (since email notices aren't working  ).... I'm SO excited for you guys!! Mini-meet MY arrival day  :rolleyes1

How excited is your gang???

Well, DS10 is at a friend's house and doesn't know that I've made ressies yet...DS13 and DH are playing XBox Live and they are excited, but completely absorbed by their game, so it has not really sunk in with them yet. I'm elated!!!!! :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2: party::jumping1:

I just found out today that DN(nephew) that always goes on vacation with us is gonna have to go to summer school :scared1: ....We have had countless conversations with him about doing his school work and it seems to go in one ear and out the other....He's a pretty smart kid, but he just doesn't try AT ALL! He's in the 9th grade and the last two year's I've been trying to pound it in his head that everything from the 9th grade forward goes on his permanent record toward graduation. He knew already that we were planning a trip for this summer and when I saw him today I asked him when summer school was....He said...."in the summer"... smart a@@! I guess I'll have to call his school on Monday and find out if they have set their summer school schedule yet. I went ahead and put him on our ressie and a rollaway bed for him. If it turns out that he's in summer school, I'll call and take him and the rollaway off.

Well...I hope he can go, but if he is in skool, a hard lesson learned at an early age! :sad2: But, they have to realize school IS important at that point! I think we'd cancel the whole thing if Ry did that!

I'm excited too  Now....hopefully....we'll get to hook-up...even if only 'briefly' :rolleyes1

Yeah, but this is DN(nephew), if it was one of the DS's...then yeah we'd probably cancel. I would be SICK!!!

YAY!!!

nite homes.....

Good Saturday Morning!

Trying to catch up. Between work and computer problems, haven't got to read everything yet.

Comments re Dollywood. My inlaws discovered Pigeon Forge and Dollywood several years ago and this has been a staple in their vacation plans. This is one of DH's favorite place to visit. He always wants to go back. (I think partially because it is only a 6-hour drive.) DH likes to rent a cabin and look at the mountains. He thinks it is pretty and peaceful. DH has lived in WV his whole life and we see mountains everyday.!:confused3

Comments re Sleep Apnea. Mac - what type of surgery did you have. I also did the sleep lab test and have been diagnosed with SA. They never mentioned surgery as an option for me. I just got my sexy mask to sleep in everynight. MotherFletcher, although it ain't pretty, the mask does work. And I tote my mask/machine for overnighters. Before the mask, I had morning headaches and was so sleepy during the day.

Will post now, before I lose anything, and get back to catching up.

-Jennifer

Phew, I'm finally all caught up. Note to self: Check in at least every other day, or you will fall too far behind, and with your anal personality you "must" read everything.:lmao:

Evidently, everyone else is still asleep, and enjoying their weekend. Let's see I know Barb and Jodie are working today. I thinks Jodie works the night shift, so she has earned her sleep this morning! The rest of you - get up! Get started on crossing off your bucket list!

Anyhoo, the clock says 7:30, so I will now get dressed and get to office, so I can be there by 8am. I hate for most of the staff to get there before I do - I think it looks bad for the employees to come in at 8, and the boss to come rolling in at 9. Oh wait, I think other people (Sharon) have this happen to them. And of course, Marci's boss is in charge of a finance company, but can't count how many hours she works.:confused3

Oh yeah - Tricia - We have "hissy fits" here in WV. And the bit about you being in the minority. WV is like the red-headed stepchild - no one claims us. Most people don't know we are even a state! I have seen WV be claimed by the northeast and the southeast both. You and Janet can fight over me!:thumbsup2

Catch you all later.

-Jennifer

MORNIN EVERYONE!!!:teeth:

Alison......I notice a 'ticker' in your sig now :rolleyes1 .........

Huh? Children are cute? :confused3

umm...yeah! MINE is :snooty:

(So are Elmer's boys, Ally, Janet's boy, etc.... :goodvibes )

I try to at least read and multiquote each page (easier that way)... I once was SO far behind, any comment i had, i quoted that person!

We know you're there....

(no wonder you fit in so well with us.... redheaded stepchildren of the DIS rule!!!)

(did I ever mention my sister [well, ex-sister] is a redhead? :lmao: ...not surprising she's disowned! )

Well, stoppin by to say 'mornin'....have a good Saturday everyone & catch ya's this afternoon (short work day for me :yay: )

Mornin'! (Said in my best Waffle House greeting voice)

We don't have snow *yet*... but they are predicting it to start here in an hour or so and last ALL DAY! I don't remember the last time it snowed here for more than a few hours... and almost never during the day. We usually don't get temps cold enough for snow during the day, we just get the overnight stuff. I can't wait to sit and watch it snow! :woohoo:

Off to ketchup...

Hi from the beautiful, balmy UP of Michigan once again! We went to a place skiing we hadn't been to before today and believe it or not, actually had a really good time, despite the weather. We all agreed it didn't seem that cold at all. I was wearing mittens and a couple times my thumbs got a bit cold but that was it. The ski conditions were great and everyone got to race, plus we just had a lot of fun overall.

Driving wasn't all that great because the (mostly 2 lane) roads weren't all cleared from yesterday's storm, but we still got there within an hour of opening and hardly anyone was there yet. This was a more gentle hill than we normally go to and I had fun feeling like a "good" skier for a change! I even went down a double diamond without tumbling!

Note to post picture of balaclava upon my return!

I'm glad you are having fun and be CAREFUL on the drive back.

Looking forward to the pictures. I might get hungry.

on my next trip i will be

pool hopping at the poly while staying elswhere, in my white see thru tank top and heelies, on a cell phone making multiple adr's i wont be keeping, all the while sipping from a mug from 1990 something..........

Make sure you chain smoke while zooming around. Then post a trip report all about it! :rolleyes1

All I did all day was drive kids around I am so tired but still in this position :surfweb: .

My DD is having midterms , then she was off to the mall then she went with my other DD and her friends to the movies. All this and driving back and forth to 3 different schools i can't believe I wanted this :confused3 when i became a parent .:rotfl2:

No, when we discuss becoming a parent, you think about having a BABY. Trouble is, those babies grow up. And they have "stuff". I'm told that one day we will look back and miss these days, so I'm enjoying as much as I can.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Reminds me of Barb's pics of Mickey at Universal...

Evening!!!

We won our meet today!!! :woohoo:

Wanted to just let you all know....I'm sure you were on the edges of your computer seats.....

I took NyQuil a little while ago and I think its starting to kick in....

I'll catch you all tomorrow!!

I fell asleep waiting. I was so uncomfortable slumped in my computer chair all night. ;)

Congrats on the WIN! :cheer2:

Well...guess who is FINALLY home from work?!?!?!
1.gif

Yep....me.....

.........rant later, ketchup now.............

So, where's the rant? What happened?

1. Yep...you can tell YOU don't have children :rotfl:
2. Anyone else think "Phoebe" from "Friends"??

1. Yep. You haven't seen massive or smelled nasty poop until you've had a child. I can honestly say that both of my boys have sh!t on me. Literally. As in explosive, flying through the air, landing on me. I can just hear Jodie now... "Reason number 9476 as to why I don't have children."

2. Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, What are they feeding you...

Hey Homies!
I need Cliff Notes....HELP
MAC!!!
I'll never get "ketchuped" around here! Guess who made their ressies today! Barb, can you guess???

I see your ticker, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess... YOU! :cool1:  :yay: :woohoo:

Sad to say but the way things are looking we may be staying offsite agian this year plus we may have to cut it from 7 days to 5 days this year:sad: but at least we will be at Universal and thats always a good thing:yay:

We stayed offsite and survived. We enjoyed ourselves and our hotel. Sure, onsite would be nice, but whatever works for you is what's best.

Thank you for getting me, guys!

Food morning, all! Yes, I intended to say Good morning. But Food Morning is just as good. If not gooder.

Have fun at work today, Barb & Jennifer!

I wonder why John Denver never mentioned hissy fits in any of his odes to West Virginia?

Janet, you up for a rumble? We could mud wrestle for the rights to claim Jennifer and her home state...

Warning: Name Drop ahead .... Did you know that my brother is good friends with John Denver's daughter, Anna Kate? She got "ordained" to perform their wedding ceremony. She doesn't speak of her dad, and we were not allowed to mention him at the wedding.
