Heart warming story about the dentist. Even with my regular dentist, I have to wait days for an emergency filling. Well, not me, as I only have one filling, but DH has the worse teeth I have ever seen. He is always at the dentist. Wish we had dental insurance.

i have caught up and read all the posts.
being blonde and all i do have the events mixed up with different names though.

but i did know it was marcie that did the skiing this weekend.

Lori has the worse mil for the kids, she favors the blood ones over the first two but her dh loves them all, gee whiz, $100 a person for presents, can i be adopted into her family........my mil ignores me on holidays and birthdays, mil still dreaming that mr mac will go back to his first wife. us second wives don't have the way paved for us, eh. but then, my folks are the same to mr mac so i guess that evens itself out anyhoot.
birthday and christmas combined gifts. that takes the cake what a rip off for those holiday babies. lori will go to wdw and uo next christmas and take me along with her to help her with all the kids.

sharon has a clone that makes her life more fun. she has a mil also but forgot if any of us like her or not. rose has a mil and mother that doesn't top mine but i wouldn't say much more when i have jack here with me now.
rose is going to wdw and uo and she also needs to take me with. i can be her tourist guide.

back to sharon.....i never got a card. not even from my mom.

marcie sent me a cute card of her family. i will pretend they are my family as they kind of look more normal than mine do.
now i lost track in what i was going to say.

barb has the one kid in the world that is a clone look a like to her.
he is so cute. all the kids pictures here are adorable. would like to see more cat pictures though. once i learn how to put my pics on the computer in a post, i'll share cat pics with and pics of the snow.

i really forgot what else i was going to say except welcome to the states damo........now you will be living closer to orlando than i will. know you will love it there.

Sorry, I've been MIA
Too many phone calls yesterday coming in.
My dad started his chemo treatment yest. It's a 24 hr/ for 7 day pump chemo thing. My mom went with him to the doctor's office to get this thing set up. THey had to go out in the snowstorm, yuck. I haven't seen the contraption yet. My mom will let me see it when my dad is up to it. On Thurs, my mom had the stomach flu Hopefully my dad wont catch it.

Marcie- glad to hear from you, from your family skiing trip. Glad no one got hurt Yea, I know there are no cell phone towers in UP of MI b/c my church has a summer camp up there in the UP area and I have heard there are no cell phone towers there, so can't use cell phones at camp. Never been to the camp area, but I have heard from others at church that no one can use cell phones there. I think that is dangerous, not able to use cell phones there for emergencies

Janet- GLad you enjoy my santa Pikachu! I kinda stole him from another poster about a yr ago. My kids like Pokemon, esp Chrissy LOVES Pokemon. She loves Pikachu, Togepi (an egg-like character), and Jirachi. Don't ask, but she loves these strange characters DH calls Jirachi the Italian Pokemon, b/c the name sounds Italian

Barb- yes, I do feel fortunate. Just my parents and DH's family don't like to spoil my children. It's always been that way for years. So Santa(DH and I) have to do some spoiling of the children ie. get most of what the kids want for Christmas and their birthdays. My mom was and still always against spoiling her grandkids(my kids). Has been this way for many yrs.
I feel very blessed when we get something unexpected(gift from a friend or a contest win ). Everyone is very frugal in our families, even DH and I are frugal at times.

Tracie- congrats on your new laptop

i just got home tuesday night, i was dreading driving all that way again 2 days later. i'm going back to the parents to help out but waiting a month for that.

Yes...they did good....DH has always had good taste in jewelry and it seems my son has inherited it (future DIL will love me ) The cross I wear was the one my Grandmother wore everyday...she never took it off.... Feel like a part of her is always 'with' me
Oddly enuf, yep... I always mix in the sink....dunno why....Mom always did, guess that's why. Sometimes you do get some spatter...so, yes...clean-up is a breeze

Of course, when both our boys were little, all I heard was that they looked just like Brad. Ugh. I'M the one who did the pregnancy/birth thing. Give me something here. Then Joshua started looking more and more like me. HA! Daniel just looks like we picked him up on the front stoop one day.

You crack me up!!! They will change quite a bit.... from 4-6 yrs. seems to be a big change (imho).... Funny thing is I try to picture him more "mature" ....grown up....and can't do it (guess I'll always see him as my baby)..... If I could ever meet my half brother, I might have an idea of what to expect.... ....but, that'll probably never happen.....

Mac, my MIL passed away back in 1996, about a yr and half before Chrissy and Matthew were born. I know you didn't know about this b/c I never mentioned this before. MIL never liked me, so if she was still alive now, she would have blamed me that the kids are special needs,really! I do feel bad she passed on, but nothing we could have done anyways.

I feel your pain sista... I do the exact same thing. Then, whatever it is I find, I stuff in a drawer, and forget to put it out the following Christmas!

Oh, and Barb... you may be on to something with the party hosting thing. I was looking through my pictures today from the gathering yesterday.

Janet - Wish I could say that it is for the dh but I really have always tried to keep the peace for Mikey & Ally and the fil. Fil has got to be the most wonderful human being ever put on this planet. He just has no idea that mil dos what she does. DH on the other hand does and doesn't understand why I get so upset. Needless to say there have been tense moments around here over it all. Of course there is also the fact that if I said anything she could have another heart attack. If that happened I would blame myself. Better to just remove us from the situation next year.

Marcie - Glad you checked in. Hope you are having a great time. Can't imagine paying $100+ a night for a Super 8.

I brought the laptop thinking I'd get a chance to catch up with you guys, but DS15 found out that his cell phone didn't get coverage up here, his girlfriend was not with him, and the laptop was the only way to talk to his sweetie! I would post cat pix, but they need to be scanned (haveta get DH to do that). I didn't have my digital camera until January and she died in June....so, that will take a while....but, she looked like Sharon's "bad" cat...to give you an idea.... Would love to see your cat pix mac....c'mon....

Lori and Mac- the kids know we are going to UO/ WDW for vacation in 2008. I forgot to wrap the plane vouchers and put them under the tree, but they already know Don't know yet when we are going. Waiting to see what's going on with DH's job first. We are hoping his job goes permanent very soon! They are half-teasing him at this job, as he just got a company email acct. and they ordered him a new desk and chair. Desk and chair are not in yet, maybe coming in a couple of weeks. He did get a small Christmas bonus at the company Christmas lunch last week,too
At least the jerk CEO gave DH some kind of bonus, seemed like everyone at the co got the same amt, as of the bonus $$. CEO told DH a couple of days ago that a decision will be made right after the new yr. At least it's going in the right direction, but what's the wait?? DH has been waiting long enough to go permanent(almost 5 months). It's such a tease. I hope it will be some kind of good news.


Oh, back to UO whoever can answer this, is there any kind of UO DVD to watch, like a UO planning DVD? I looked on hte UO website a week ago and didn't see anything. Of course we all know Disney has it's own planning DVD, as I have the 2007 one. DH and I could really use a UO planning DVD.
