I hate the green carpet. It's been there since we built the house in 1990. It's really hard to find drapes and bed linens to go with it. Not sure what kind of drug I was smoking when I picked it out.![]()
The carpeting in the master bedroom of our house. Look familiar?

I saw this photo, and thought, wow! those are some big deer!![]()
Forgot you have cows!
Looks like you need to buy them boys some boots! J/K
Loved the pics of the deer. We've had them in our yard here but never that close! Fun to see from the whirlpool!
Speaking of the hot tub, I have no way of knowing whether it adds a lot to the electric bill or not. We've had one forever - had the last one 17 years before we left it when we moved (after moving it twice before!) and I'm guessing of course it will cost more here since it's Green Bay (duh!) and we have it outside (had it in a Florida room before). I just don't know how to calculate how much I pay for it!

And, speaking of the boots - we lived in Charlotte, NC when my oldest was little. Had a good snowstorm (about 6 inches) when he was just a year old and we ended up putting ziploc bags over his feet (with his tennis shoes on) and putting rubber bands around the ankles so he could go out and play in the snow! Wasn't worth buying them even there, so I'm guessing not for Tricia that much more south!
who here eats those Peeps?
Okay, somehow I missed Sharon's quote too here! I like Peeps - but one is enough maybe once a year! And my sons love blowing them up in the microwave too! If you haven't tried it, just put one in for about 15 seconds and watch it expand. Then it's gooey and fun to eat!
Marci - Have you warmed up yet? I know the feeling the fans are - when WVU lost to Pitt on a cold night in December, the whole state was in shock and disbelief. I opted to stay home and keep the furnace company.
Well, I might have warmed up, but don't think the guys have from the game! Although I went walking this morning in the -18 wind chills and ended up wearing almost as much as they did - even wore the ski goggles! Now we're in the midst of 6 inches of snow. Took me an hour to get home from work (vs. the normal 18 minutes) and DS ended up having to miss piano lessons because we never would have made it. Still snowing! Know we won't get a snow day tomorrow, but hoping for a late start! (Can you tell I like to sleep in?!

I don't know if I had mentioned this before, but I had gotten the Magic Bullet for Xmas. We christened it last night during the game with shakes and smoothies.....let me tell you ladies and gents, it is worth ever penny!!!!
I remember on a ski trip a year or two ago watching the entire infomercial for the magic bullet (okay, either there was nothing else on or we just couldn't motivate ourselves to change the channel!). Glad to hear it's actually useful!
