not going out to look @ tires this am rule in our house is: if you see it broke, you're responsible for fixing it; will let the man of the house handle it. I lugged the last tire to shop to be repaired. wound up buying 2 new ones & I probably didn't need them in the 1st place.

Sadly, I am NOT preggo with twins. I think that would send Daddy bean to the Looney Farm The picture is what will hopefully become my nieces or nephews or one of each or whatever - and it is for my Bro and SIL . As far as names, like Barb asked, I am not too sure but Edwin Thomas and Julia Claire are up there somewhere Other SIL and BIL (Jim's sister) has the two boys (my nephews) and is due with #3 on January 15th at 8am (repeat CSection).....she did not find out what she was having this time around, but is carrying WAY, WAY, WAY differently than she did with the boys...so me thinks she is having a girl She is stuck on Hayden Thomas for a boy and has not a clue for a girl.....she better get cracking on that one. So there - that is all cleared up now right?!?!?!?

A do-nut shop with good coffee, frappichinos and lattes would be wicked cool - however, the beer guzzling, smoking, drunk park goers of Universal would never use it..... Because you know that is all we are (according to some people ).

Three bottles of beer on the wall for Janet. Jodie should be at the HRH today, right? 4 days till the Eagles game for me and DH, 6 til the mini vacation in the mountains and 9 til a concert for me and DH (a band we really like does a kick **** Christmas concert with their stuff and some Christmas songs in a very small venue and it rocks!!!! )

dreading getting up in the attic to drag the Christmas decorations out.....but I guess if I don't no one else will Where is that darned elf when you need him???

got to fold some laundry, throw some more in the washer......be back in a bit

It's my turn to grovel for not being able to catch up. Well, I've read everything, so I'm caught up... but things are crazy around here and I only have a minute.

Carol is having chemo this week. Today is her 49th birthday. Happy friggin Birthday! We're celebrating by pumping poison into your system to kill the cancer before it kills you! Sigh.

I'm PMSing. Sorry.

My MIL calls me this morning panicky. "We're supposed to wear hats for the wedding! Did you know we're supposed to wear hats? Dad (She calls my FIL Dad, which I find weird...) says he's not going to let me buy a hat because he won't spend one more nickel on this fiasco. What am I going to do?"

Okay, first of all, Idiot Nephew's wedding is a fiasco, but they are the grandparents of the groom. If the wedding party is wearing hats, buy the woman a hat. I, however, as aunt of the groom, do not qualify as part of the wedding party, so I don't have to slap a ridiculous hat on my head. Nonny-nonny boo-boo.

Second, I called my SIL and she said that SHE is wearing a hat, the mother of the bride is wearing a hat, but it is up to the grandmothers if they want to participate in the whole hat thing.

Third, I think I know what to get my in laws for Christmas. A gift certificate for somewhere that sells women's dress hats.

BORED, BORED, BORED! I'm at work, and in case I didn't mention it, I'm BORED! Luckily no one's around right now, but I've already finished everything I'm supposed to be doing and now I just doing busy work (scanning zillions of old files into the computer). This is not exciting if you didn't grasp that! Glad I'm coming in that hour early now so I can sit and do busy work!

Yesterday the car was only $471 for them to fix the stuff with the service engine light and the temperature gauge. We decided against paying the additional $300 to have them repair the fuel gauge since we have the ability to just calculate that and guess when the tank is getting empty.

Oops - boss is back - got to go back to looking busy!

Marcie - My old car's gas gauge didn't work. I knew I could run it about 425 miles per tank of gas, so I always reset my trip meter when I filled up and kept track that way.
