Thanks, MF!

I was trying to think of a clever response to your probation officer comment on the other thread, but after being up for 22 hours, I think I'm fading too fast!

Sleep tight. Roxy should be OK if the witnesses die!:sad1:

My wife fed me sht, A BUNCH OF SHT! :flower3: She screwed up and used tomato paste instead of tomato juice. But I barely complained.

Geez, I started work at 5:30 a.m. and I have to go do a presentation to a homeowner's association at 7:30 p.m. That way too many hours to work in a day.:worried:

rose - TPs effective (if it's raining) shaving cream is even better.
Testers have ways of tracking down perps:rolleyes1 DH is probably better off not dealing with the idjit...such a long time for you both to worry:grouphug: know it'll turn the corner soon!

lori - u had fantastic seats, was the pic of your 'lil princess;) . Know what u mean, my youngest has had many more opportunities that his older brothers and thinks he's the least "entitled" of all his friends.:headache:

mac - hope it all gets back on track @ your house

In the Navy  my dad was a gunner (the guy strapped into the big gun on deck) on a battleship during WWII

married my "sailor" served during Vietnam War on aircraft carrier

always had the hots for Popeye and spinach:)

Ok, how do I get Pickled? I have Thanksgiving smilies from last yr I kept, but haven't put them in my siggie yet.

Lori- enjoyed the Hannah Montana pics :thumbsup2
Thank you for postings them, as the pics are going to be the closest thing to a Hannah Montana concert my DD and I will ever see, at least for this yr.
Your DD I'm sure must have had a blast!
I could see how another family would be coming from a few states over to see Hannah Montana, as we know how hard it is to get tix.
Glad you guys had a blast!

Talk about spoiling kids. Did you know my mom doesn't like spoiling my kids, her own grandkids? She has told me for years the kids should not be spoiled, so that's why my parents don't spend alot of money on birthday/Christmas gifts for them. This is what my mom and dad do, they don't like spoiling the kids :sad2:

Jodie- on Fox News Channel, I like to watch Hannity and Colmes(I LOVE Sean Hannity!) and On The Record with Greta Van Susteren.I don't get to watch those shows all the time. I've been hooked with watching about the Stacy Peterson (wife that's missing in Bolingbrook, Il) saga. And of course, her husband, Drew Peterson. Bolingbrook, Il is about a 45 min drive from where I live. Not real familiar with the Bolingbrook area.
I remember the Natalie Halloway saga and the Scott Peterson saga that Greta really got into.
Oh, I remember when Susan Estrich used to be a guest on Hannity and Colmes. I LOVED the fireworks between Hannity and Susan Estrich! It was so halarious!! Her voice, she sounds like Carol Channing :lmao:

Ok, have a good night everyone!

holy cow MF and she used 3 packs of thawed meat for the sht.......
since you didn't complain, she might make it again for you.....

Sure! :woohoo:
You could TP that house anytime, except I don't know where this guy lives.

i google.........:rolleyes1
just say the word. i'll take crazy people with me and blame it on them.

i like Greta. it was really kewl when she did her thing on the face lift she had done.

and, Greta (among others) was in zion covering the story of the mother's day killing of a 7 year old by her father.

i was inches away from her.
i didn't ask for any autograph, seemed kind of tacky at the time.

rose, i hope everyone sends you pm's for the pickle and other holiday smilies...

Rose - "Passion" and "Staff Accountant" just don't go together in my head. :confused3 Has this guy been watching those real estate guru infomercials that run in the middle of the night?

Mac - Sounds like a good meal for Thanksgiving.
I have tons of ham & navy beans now. Should I send you a care package? ;)

Lori - Those are great pics from the concert and Ally looks so happy! Makes me remember my first concert. Well, not the first concert I attended. That would be the Osmonds... but I was going because my older sister wanted to go and I was a tag-along. The first concert that I asked to go to and my mom took me was Shaun Cassidy. Sigh. I had such a crush. I watched the Hardy Boys (and that stinkin' Nancy Drew they alternated with) every weekend.

Janet - My dad was a navigator on the planes that flew (mostly) reconnaissance missions. He always said that he loved the missions that took them over the South Pacific. I can remember him saying, "The water was so clear, all you had to do was LOOK for the subs. Hardest thing was telling a sub from a whale."

Fletch - So, you got sht... but not the right sht. Bummer. At least she tried? Close, but... big difference in the taste of tomato paste and tomato juice. Bummer.

i was thinking of something that we could do as a group of homies.

it's just a thought off the top of my head. doesn't mean it will happen but if it does, i volunteer to coordinate it.

anyone want to do a dollar store exchange for christmas?
must be a gag gift that suits a person and maximum cost is $2 for the gift.

ie: bubba's mom, she is a hairdresser so things that might be appropriate would be: bald doll, plastic comb, curlers, etc.

or pick a theme and all gifts would be in the same catagory.
ie: christmas ornament $5 max limit.

or do a homemade poem exchange. if it doesn't rhyme, the more original...

or save that white elephant you recieve this christmas for the april fool day exchange........recycle the worst thing you get and see what you get in return. remember, one person's trash is another's treasure

just trying to think of cheap/ inexpensive ways to involve as many that want to be. it's not really the item but the thought.

if you are interested or have ideas, let me know.
i would coordinate it and would supply you with the name and address of who you have.
names in a hat draw

no one has to do this. it could be that no one is interested in doing this but wanted to throw it out there.

no pressure applied

Isn't it interesting how the ones that get the most seem to think that way?:rotfl: They were really great seats. And can you imagine a stadium full of mostly little girls being able to feel the floor moving under you???:scared1: Man were they jumpin'! And yes that was Ally in the pic.

You are most welcome. She had a terrific time. They are supposed to be posting tour pics at http://www.disney.com/hannah that you will be able to go online and look at but there aren't any of them up yet. You can keep checking though and maybe you can show your dd some even better pics.

My mother is just like your folks, but only with my two youngest. She thinks that dh's parents do too much for them so she does less for them and with than she does for the other kids in the family. She just doesn't get it that they notice she treats them differently and is hurting them. The saddest thing I have ever heard from one of my kids was from Michael when he was 14; he wanted to know why grandma didn't like him. :sad2: That came from him noticing the difference in the way she treated him over everyone else.

My first concert was the Jackson 5! I also got to go see Shaun Cassidy. I loved The Hardy Boys & Nancy Drew shows & books. Now Ally loves Nancy Drew! I did find dvd's of the old shows online, think I'll try to get it for her for Christmas.

I think it is a great idea. Personally I love ornaments but anything is fine with me. Let me know what you decide.

Oh, that sounds like FUN! I know some people on the thread better than others, but I'm game for just about anything.

I have a dollar store and could have fun with that.
I love ornaments and participate in a Christmas party every year where we exchange them... so that would be fun too.
I don't know that I would want to saddle anyone with a white elephant gift. My MIL is notoriously cheap and tends to re-gift stuff she's saved in her closet. We've joked that getting a gift from her is along the lines of Forrest Gump and his box of chocolates... "you never know what you're gonna get"... But, if you guys want to take your chances, that sounds like fun too.

Count me in and just let me know 'da rules!

Count me in. I like to collect ornaments, so that would be good, but whatever everyone else wants is good too.

Bags are packed. Boarding passes printed. I'm good to go! :woohoo: :woohoo:

One of my cats is freakin out...knows when she sees the suitcases, that we are leaving her...at least DD will be home this time to play with her. :sad2:

I've only got 45 minutes to change planes in Newark...wish me luck!

Alarm is set for 3:30, off to bed. I'll be back on Tuesday.
Be good everyone! :grouphug:

have a GREAT time...good luck and be safe!!! :teeth:

Quick drop in....

I love the whole holiday exchange thing! Count me in and post rules!

Sharon - have a great time!!!

Sorry, don't have the energy to address everyone tonite.....but only one more day until the weekend! :woohoo:

holy cow MF and she used 3 packs of thawed meat for the sht.......
since you didn't complain, she might make it again for you.....

I don't think she used all three packages. She did ask if I wanted meatloaf but I told her that it was a little too hot to heat up the house by using the oven (I know that most of ya'll are in a little cooler climate but it was warm here yesterday). She got a little mad when I told her that it should have been juice not paste but stopped short of saying..."YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!!!"

Every once in a while you feel like your getting old. Well last night I went to a homeonwer's meeting where I was the youngest one there. I heard one lady tell another that her daughter was 67 years old. I had to bite my lip but was thinking 'then your mom must live in Palm Beach'. :hourglass

Good morning all:)

Wishing you happiness from the lovely Super 8 Motel.

Rose - "Passion" and "Staff Accountant" just don't go together in my head.
:lmao: (This is only funny to us accountants)

Rose - If the boss is like Donald Trump - DH may be better somewhere else. I used to love The Apprentice the first season - then Trump read his press clippings and become a bigger A**. The last season he was so smug. I always said "He would sell his grandma out for a few bucks and a good deal."
Tell DH to keep looking - he will find something.

FOX NEWS is the preferred channel in our house as well. As we are early birds instead of late nighters - we usually watch the 6am news. Hubby has developed a soft spot for Greta since the original O.J. drama years ago.

Lori - sounds like a good concert and nice bonding time I have a son, so he probably doesn't even know who Hannah is. I however, do know who Billy Ray is!!!!! Everyone sing:dance3: Achy Breaky Heart:dance3:

Tricia - Osmonds and Shaun Cassidy. Oh yes, I remember them as well.

Mac - Count me in for the Holiday project.

Sharon and Jodie - Enjoy your vacations! After my business trip to the middle of nowhere - I am just happy to be going home tonight.

Have a nice day. Can't wait to get home and see what my husband has accomplished in the living room in my absence.

-Jennifer -

i like super 8 motels.
they have the bagels and cream cheese breakfast each morning.

i stayed in the super 8 when i would transport one son back and forth to college.

going to work.
overslept but can still make it on time.

i'll be back when the skool bell rings and talk about the exchange.:teacher:
