I saw that when they announced it way back when. I LOVE Stone Mountain and we'll probably try to make it once during the Christmas celebration. We get snow here, it just doesn't happen often (once or twice a year, maybe) and it doesn't stick around for very long (two or three days at the most).

Okay, now we're doing snow pics? How about skiing in the warm weather? Here's one of my boys back when they were cute, skiing in about 70 degree weather:

marci - they are still cutie pies. DS all were strapped on skis when little; we've gotten away from it...the ground has grown harder for me. after we enjoy the 1st snowfall of the year, i plan on selling any future amounts on eBay.

lori - can't open your file, DH has security set way up, apparently we've been under attack lol. i do see somewhere over the rainbow in address; luv the hawaiian version by israel kamakawiwo'ole (say that 3 times fast lol)

found out i'm on carpool duty tonight (again)...where are all these kids' mothers...oh yeah-forgot, i'm the only one who "doesn't work"...conventional thinking = i've got nothing better to do.

Yep. Had the darndest time finding flat shoes that were dressy enough... then I didn't keep them on long enough for it to matter. I was among friends, so I ditched them. I was wearing a toe ring and anklet, so my feet were dressed up even when they were bare. It counts, right?

Good Morning!

I'm expecting visitors today. My oldest sister and her family are making the trek up here (I think) from the southern end of the state. They want to visit Carol, so I'll have to do the entertaining while they pop over for a few minutes here and there. I don't know how much I'll be around, but you guys have a great day!

Green Bay has the bye this week

Undefeated Patriots at winless Miami.......the dolphins could potentially shock the Pats....It has happened, but not likely.

San Fran at Giants - I say Giants

Atlanta at New ORleans-could go either way, both have 1 win

Chicago at Philly- macs team vs. Barbs...... what do you think Barb?

Pittsburgh at Denver- i think the steelers will kill them.

and last but not least, KC at Oakland...this could go either way...

Atlanta at New ORleans-could go either way, both have 1 win

That is a BIG rivalry and is usually a good game, even when either or both teams stink.

Actually, the few years that we have had winning teams were the odd ones.

Hockey... OY... the Thrashers are off to an 0-6 season... fired the head coach, so now GM is filling that role... doesn't look good. I miss the Knights (the IHL team we had for a few years). They may not have been top tier pro, but they were sure fun to watch.

I had heard they fired coach.....I remember last year it took our Flyers till NOV to get 4 wins..... They had 4 wins by early Oct ( i think)....point is....got a young hotshot this year who is GOOD and only 1 loss (afaik) and year looks promising.....

Hello everyone. I am just procrastinating more of my trip report. Not looking forward to work today or tomorrow. I work with all men for the most part, and this means football all day today and tomorrow at work. I know you guys like football, but I believe hell is personalized for everyone. Mine would include football, field hockey, soccer, and Nascar racing, wine out of a box or in a jug, unsupervised and unruly children everywhere (complete with The Wiggles and Barney), blood tests, stool samples, Christian rock and salsa, cleaning up vomit, mashed potatoes, listening to Bill Maher, getting a pap smear, Grey's Anatomy, cold sores, idiot drivers, chemistry class, boogers, I could go on....
