Joshua is off school today and tomorrow, so I don't know how much I'll be around.

Shower was okay. Free wine is always a bonus. However, the food offerings were 3 kinds of cheese, crackers, bread cubes, and tiny (I mean TINY) pimento cheese or cucumber sandwiches. Oh, and your choice of either key lime pie or vegan chocolate cake. Not much for a 2.5 hour event.

My feet are killing me from standing around in girl shoes and my head is ringing a little from the chatter and wine-with-no-food combo, but I'll survive.

I'm off to check my eBay listings. bbl

Hi guys! I am back, and there is no way I'm catching up on this thread!

Can someone just give me the cliff notes?

I got totally sick at the end of our trip (I had tried to deny it was coming to no avail, being rather reckless in doing so). I am still recovering. Not even out of my PJs yet and yesterday was a long day full of travel delays.

Tracie, I was hoping to get to the Post Office today to mail your goodies, but would it be OK if I did it tomorrow? I had no idea I'd still be feeling this bad. Thinking about maybe a shower and a salad then a nap instead of errands. Poor Mike is even doing my laundry. BTW, I used my AP for a discount, but it hardly seemed to put a dent in the damage. 20% is way better than 10%!

I have spare tickets for the Nascar race in Atlanta up on eBay at the moment. One auction ends today, one ends tomorrow, and the last one ends Wednesday.

I trimmed my signature down to the most basic info and deleted the picture. It just isn't worth the headache to see if I'm "legal".

Yeah, that's what I got too. I didn't want to be chopped, deleted, or automatically resized. It all just sounds too... painful.

Auction number 1 ended about 15 mins ago. Tickets sold for $132.50. We paid $120. Even with the eBay and PayPal fees, we're still coming out ahead. So, I guess we owe the jerks that hung us with the tickets a big THANK YOU!

congrats, how did you escape the dreaded ticket resale bs on ebay? While i've sold extra concert tix in the past, never for much more than i purchased them...think you're only allowed a % over your cost?

When I tried to sell a book of reward coupons earlier this year from southwest I wasn't going to use & it got yanked since I wasn't an offical travel agent site . I'm verified & I have a business account/take credit cards, etc. & pay my fees...stupid. I may have a SW credit that i'm not about to pay to extend; wonder if they'll shut me down on that listing?

I clearly stated the "face value" of the ticket in my listing, so people would know exactly what they are bidding on. They made the decision to pay more than the ticket is "worth". I also state in my "buyer's instructions" that I am NOT a store. So, I dunno.

I've been lurking for a few weeks and just wanted to say hello. You all seem like a nice bunch of folks.

I only read the first 2-3 posts and then the last couple weeks. I hope I don't have to read them all before playing

I will try and get everyone's names right as I move forward.

Janet (keisha) - we live 2 hours south of Pittsburgh, near Morgantown. We probably have the same kind of weather. Also we are HUGE HUGE Steelers fans. Our son (12yrs) is a Philadelphia Eagle and New York Yankee fan. We're not sure where he came from!

Anyway, I loved the pic of Terry Bradshaw you posted. My husband brought into our marriage his Sports Illustrated back when Steelers won all the Super Bowls in the 70's. Maybe RVGal can put them on EBay for us one day.
