What a great picture! You've got some handsome fellas there. :)

Well that is steep. The Hannah tickets are from $24 to $60, depending on the section. Of course there are lots of tickets available to the OKC show, starting in the nosebleed section for $150 and going up to $1200 for the floor. At least that is the highest I have seen. I guess I would rather have a nice trip out of town for that amount then pay a scalper for tickets here.

I think the out of town thing sounds like a wonderful mother/daughter getaway. I'd rather pay the money in a ticket/hotel combo for that whole experience. :thumbsup2

i am doing dining reviews at the moment trip report soon.

will have to check out the photobucket thing. I am not very technically inclined........

well, being a rainy day in new england, not inclined regarding anything actually.....

Looking forward to it. popcorn::

Evening everyone!

My gosh what a busy day...I had alot of catching up to do!

I'm supposed to be doing my online course work for school, but this is far more interesting. I wonder if I tell them that I am sharing thoughts and ideas via the web, will they let me get by...:scratchin

School is just not getting any easier! This whole teaching thing is killing me!

Anyways...

Marci: Thanks for the info, I really want to do the certified one (meaning I would have to get certified first). The thing is, I believe you have to go and do an actual dive in the ocean, which kinda freaks me out. I have no issues swimming (I swam thru college), but open water gets me a little freaked. I almost drowned in the ocean when I was three....I'll have to share that story another time

Tricia: Go to the Dr. yet? The questions is, which Dr. should you be going to ;)

Keisha: Those pics are soo cute. I don't think it will be as bad...price wise I mean. I don't want real flowers (I have allergies). And I want to make the centerpieces and such (IMO, I'm crafty)

Someone asked me about rain (sorry I don't remember exactly who)...I don't even wanna think about that!! :scared1: I just knocked on wood just in case ;)

Mac: Just good to see you as always

Sorry if I didn't address everyone....I'm totally pooped. And I wanna try and get the Reception possibility pics up.

keisha - (you are Janet, right?)

Hubba hubba what handsome guys you have!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Lori -

I took the girls to the HSM concert in January.....my advice to you is to *ahem* have a few and take a taxi to the hotel....you will have a major headache with all of the screaming girls :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Think I could sneak in a couple of Margaritta's?????

Okay....are you guys kidding me?!? All I did was go to work, come home, empty the dishwasher, get dinner on the table, go to soccer practice (which ran late), come home and help Bubba with shower, talked to a customer on the phone, helped Bubba with his homework (& got him a snack during the process) and get him off to bed, and I come here to read THREE PAGES!?!?!? Boy, you guys can YAK!!! However, being blonde, I have taken notes:

*ahem*

So, do I need to go back to the store and rebuy Tricia's shower gift? I DO know that if you are getting gifts of: rum, wine and like the sorts, you'll have absolutely NO need for those "tight underwears"

Katie...don't worry homie....if Tracie won't spike yer punch, I've got her back ;) (don't worry) Looking forward to more of your pictures too!

Marcie....sorry to say, the Packers didn't "win"....the Eagles lost....they gave them that game. :sad2: They didn't score a touchdown on their own...it was a fumbled TD. However, I'm waiting for McNabb to start complaining about his knee... :rolleyes2

Tracie.... glad to hear little Frank Bean (hhhmmm :scratchin ...sounds 'familiar') won his game! :cheer2: Good for him! Did he have fun? And what is it?? 5 days and countin' ..... :rolleyes1

Sharon.....Yes :rotfl2: I HAVE heard of single serving Hamburger Helper. Unfortunately, I don't make it just for me....it's for the 3 of us w/ 1 serving leftover..... (Don't think it's not a future option tho... ) I'm not surprised the "touristy" things didn't wow your son either....I used to live in the city (Phila) and those were the places we went on field trips with (elementary) school. Have not been back since. Why is it you never visit the "tourist" places in the town you live in/near??? (Unless it's UO or WDW? )

Janet....loved the pix of you and the kids! A great lookin' family! How long ago were said pictures taken?

Penny....we watch CSI (all of 'em) and we were thinking Sara would go missing for awhile (pregnancy leave). She really doesn't have much story....even since the story "broke" about her and Grissom being an "item" :scared: , she hasn't done much....then again, maybe cuz of the pregnancy (they were hiding it, and not very well, imho). I'd like to see her stay....one of the reasons I watch certain shows are for the people in them. Once they swap actors for the characters, it loses something for me, and I have no desire to keep watching....it's definately the "people" for me ;)

Melissa....thanks for the info on your buddy....I will pass the info along to all my friends who voted for her (they've been askin')

Lori....You are a COOL MOM for getting those tickets! :cool1: You are NOT crazy...you da bomb!! She will be thrilled! Will totally add to the joy of finding puppydog too! (glad that worked out for you) Oh, and if I were you, I'd ditch the sis.... :rolleyes1 Life is just too short to have people like that "drag ya down" :thumbsup2

Also, mslclark!!! Feel free to drop in anytime :grouphug:

Jodie...where YOU been?? Oh yeah, working on that TR & pix I'm guessin' popcorn::

Okay, worked today...same ole, same ole.....oh, and the toe still hurts, but not all the different pretty colors. (I'm guessing because it actually bled and didn't bleed underneath (= bruising)... It is sore and hurts, and is swollen a bit, but still guessing it's not brokened.

Bubba came home with the stinkin' fundraiser stuff today I was flippin' through the book, and it's really a crappy selection this year :sad2: Nothing worth selling....oh well....whatcha gonna do? :confused3

Busy day tomorrow....heater gettin' cleaned at 7am

Barb, what do you mean by fundraising? Is it a mandatory thing? I remember some of those fundraisers, but the were like for the holidays and stuff (like wrapping paper).

I don't go for that. Bakesales and things like that are cool, but just asking for money and saying you gotta fundraise? Poo poo on that!

do notice barb forgot the homie mac.....

i'm teasing ya'
i didn't say anything noteworthy today.
except the cow line 3 pages back.

I mean it's a book of cheese, some candy and other stuff....wrapping paper included. Some kitchen gadget stuff, magazines, knick knacks, etc... It's not mandatory, but the proceeds benefit things the school does for the kids/families throughout the year ( assemblies, Fall Fun Day, grants to teachers for supplies, APT family nights, etc....) It's a real PITA!!! :headache: If you click the first book titled "Winter Wonderland" and "Wisconsin and You" here: http://www.gntinc.com/fundraising/index.htm , that is what he brought home today :sad2: .

Oh forgot to mention....macraven is down to 14 (?) sleeps before her vacay

AND, I got our AP newsletter in the MAIL today :yay: What a surprise!!!!

Barb - Sunday is THE day

I was born 9/16/1969 at 8:02AM (or at least that is what it says on my birth certificate....Mom was put to sleep to have me - maybe that is what happened to me??? put to sleep for having a kid??? What happened to the good old days??!!?? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: )

Frank had a great time and they have offuntil Wednesday night. He has the bye this weekend but Court has to cheer at another game this weekend :faint:

Sounds like yuo had a busy day! Need to ask you - what is the youngest that your shop(s) have dyed a girls hair? Kate bean is making us nuts with wanting to do it and I am SO against it.....I am a firm believer in natural beauty (or at least until the grays need to be covered!)

i think sept 16 should be a holiday, a national holiday.
i'll write to my congressman and get a petition going for you......
you're a homie, i would do that for you..

i think the first time i had my hair colored was at age 15
does that help?

Hi all!
I can't keep up with you guys! I try to read a little each day and can't ever find the time to post on here!

Tracie, I'd say NO on the haircolor for DD, but that's just me. I say that because I started graying very young and find it necessary to color my hair. As a matter of fact, I am sitting here at this very moment with color on my hair that I need to rinse out. Once you start coloring your hair, it is very difficult to go back natural and you really have to take care of it too! I just hate to see young girls coloring so young and before they have to! Others may have a difference of opinion.

Be back in a bit....got to go rinse my head......

Okay, I found it and I'm back.... I'll answer Tracie first cuz she is prolly waitin' to go to bed....whereas, Mac, gotta be dragged....

how young were you when you started to get gray hairs?
i found my first couple of white hairs last week. i always thought it would be gray but mine were very white
guess this means i am old..........

Well Katie fund raisers aren't exactly mandatory but they tell the kids what great prizes they will get if they sell this much or this much and so on. Some schools even do parties for the kids that participate and leave out the ones that don't. Of course if we didn't participate & our school did that guess whose kids would be out doing something a lot more fun than their classmates?!?

Anyway, Michael (my sophomore) has already doen a fund raiser for his Ag class. At least that one is one everyone wants. It is a company that does breakfast meats & chicken strips, etc. that you can only get from school groups that is the best you can buy. And just a few minutes ago, Ally (my 3rd grader) said she will be bringing home a magazine fund raiser for the library tomorrow. We have never done one specifically for the library which means we will be doing an extra one this year!

Barb - hope the toe is better tomorrow. Can you tell I did nothing but yak today????

Mac - only 14 more days?!!!! Wish I could join you.

Hi Allison! Great to see you. Did you get that massive rain storm we got last night? The airport got over 6" in two hours! DH had to go to work late because the interstate was closed for a little bit while the ain water drained off.

Tracie - How bout I just have the Margaritta's before I go? That outta do it.

Well I gotta get to bed. See y'all tomorrow.
