Hey Mac...what's going on? The birthday was cool...I didn't do much since it's during the week. I might be heading to IOA this weekend sometime with some friends so we'll do some partying over there!

One another note.....who remembers the song "Don't Fear The Reaper" by BOC? Isn't that the best song ever!!

I thought your ToT comment WAS funny. Especially since I had just read your post here about having only 7 hours of sleep in the past 4 days. Hence my reply, which was suppose to bring a chuckle too.

I'm very easy to entertain. Remember I was one of the one that lost several minutes watching Barbs dancing banana smiley... :rolleyes1

Oh, no, I didn't write that right ... I totally thought you were funny, and I thank you for playing!!!

Hi all-
I'm very tired right now. Zzzzzz :faint:
I had a very busy day. Ran some errands earlier today while the kiddos were at school. Had some really nasty storms here in the Chicago area this afternoon and evening. I actually got caught in one outside! Was waiting for my kids to get off the bus from school. The bus stop is a half block away from my condo. Anyways, the kids get off at 3pm from school. Noticed it was 3:10pm and no bus yet. The storms were starting to roll in, didn't rain yet at this time, but saw hte lightning about a couple of miles away. Then hit 3:15 pm,still no bus yet. Then the skies opened up and I got really, really soaked for many minutes! Had an umbrella with me, but that didn't help much b/c hte rain came down so hard, it was sideways! The stop that I wait for the kids, there is no shelter really. Bus didn't show up til 3:30pm. I even ran back home for a minute at 3:20pm, to see if the school called to tell me that hte bus was running late, but no phone call from the school  Oh well I got soaked. It was fun watching the storm roll in b4 I got soaked. I felt like Helen Hunt in Twister, looking for the funnel cloud :rotfl2:
Once the kids got off the bus, it was still pouring rain, we had to cross flash flood of 6 inch puddles! Chrissy hates puddles! She was crying while her feet got really soaked. All our shoes are still soaked.

We need an ark here :sad2:  :lmao:

I think we need a bigger boat :rotfl2:

Going to bed now. Goodnight :cloud9:

Nite Todd....

Sorry you got soggy Rosemarie....I would have gone home and come back in the car :rolleyes1 ...yes, I've been known to do that

night night todd.
whoop it up this weekend at ioa. celebrate hearty

rose, wow, you were like a duck today.
don't you hate that soggy feeling....
how bad did your area get hit?

we have flooding in our area still.

mr mac takes the north train home from the city every work day.
he got on the train at 5:03 and didn't make it home until 7:40 tonight.
over 2..5 hours on the train.
found out the train did not leave union station downtown chicago due to the debris and trees that had fallen on the train tracks.

he was a cranky pants when he got home.

Barb finds the best bananas.

If there were a banana contest, the trophy would be called "The Barb".

Okay, maybe I need some sleep.

Or the cold medicine is kicking in and making me loopy.

Probably not the cold medicine, since the stuff they stock on the shelves doesn't do s*** anymore.

Oh - Can you believe you need to sign your life away for a good cold medicine these days???? :confused3 :confused3  :headache: :confused3 :confused3

Morning all!

Our last full day here in FL :sad2:

Didn't get a chance to post last night so here is what happened yesterday.

Woke up, and hit up Denny's (I don't know why I enjoy that place so much!).

Headed over to Downtown Disney to rent the Sea Raycers....found out that we could rent them at the Poly instead, so trekked over to the Poly. Man that place is beautiful! I have never been and it was phenomenal!

I got a chance to walk over to the Wedding Pavilion and take a look around for the future and it was beautiful. We actually ran the Raycer's over to the Pavilion for a 2:30 wedding ceremony and got a glimpse.

After, we headed to the Boardwalk to check out some more wedding spots and got some great photos. I was very happy with what I saw. :woohoo:

Sorry about all the Disney in this post, I'm stopping now;)

Went to Fuddruckers for dinner..yum! Question...will that Ron Jon Surf Park EVER going to open???? I eamn for years, they have said "Coming in 200_" Now it just says "Coming Soon"...we shall see.....:scratchin

Oh, good. I was worried that my humor at your humor got lost. :goodvibes

The folks on the Weather Channel were about to wet their pants they were so excited about covering the storms in the Chicago area. I had turned it on because we were getting a nasty storm at the same time. I freaked out when I saw the tornado warnings, until I realized that the maps they were showing were in Illinois. We just had a *beep, beep, beep* Severe Thunderstorm Warning, complete with wind gust of 60 mph and 1/2 hail.

we have flooding in our area still.

I hope things are better today. We were so excited to finally get rain yesterday afternoon, and here you guys are with flooding.

Yeah. Those stupid Meth lab people screwed us all. Now I have to either buy crap off the shelves that doesn't perform anything like a decongestant... or I have to ask the pharmacist, "Please sir, may I have something for my congestion?" then get treated like a criminal because I've got a friggin head cold. Ugh.

I love Denny's, but it has to be a late night meal for me. That used to be our regular "after the bars close" stop.

How exciting for you to be scoping out wedding locations!

The last word I heard from my SIL (who lives in the Orlando 'burbs) is the new date for the Surf Park is sometime in 2008. However, attendence at that shopping center is dismal and there are rumors that maybe they don't want to risk the venture at that location at all anymore. Who knows.

:lmao: :rotfl2:

And once again I found myself mesermised by Barb's dancing bananers!!

You and me both. She should warn us or something.

Morning everyone!

It's not supposed to be quite as hot today. Highs are projected at 95 or so (been over 100 almost ever day for over a week). We might get some relief over the weekend. Sunday or Monday our highs might drop to 90. At this point, I'll take it.

Mornin' all

Raven...sorry Mr. was so late last night...there you sit and worry, and instead of being GLAD he's home, he's cranky :sad2: somethin' about that scenario is just SO wrong.

KStar...sounds like a great way to spend vacation....scoping wedding spots! :goodvibes Lucky...hope you find something worth considering :thumbsup2 Sorry to hear your trip has to end...BUT, that is good news for US, cuz then we get to see your pix :woohoo:

Todd: in case I miss you before you "celebrate" yer birthday this weekend:

And yes, Penny....gettin' closer!!! :yay:

Haveta do that "work" thing today....catch ya's l8r......... :thumbsup2

Good morning, homies. It's such a crummy day here. I would like to know what happened to summer, please?

And, yeah, what's up with having to put me "in the system" and present my driver's license to buy Advil Cold & Sinus? Is there a national database that says I like to check out murder mysteries from the library and I buy potent cold medicine, therefore I should be put on some government watchlist? I cannot believe how long it takes to buy stupid cold medicine anymore...

Well, I have nothing new or good to report. Although I feel like I'm forgetting to do something. Then again, I don't really know what day it is, so what do I know?
