So, tell us....how wuz your special day? What'd you eat? Where'd ya go? OR, where'd ya go to eat?
ever watch the food network?
watch the show on diners, drive ins and dives this week..
i think at 2:30 cst on monday it will be on. it will also be on 3 more times this week.
Franks Diner in Kenosha Wisconsin will be featured in that segment.
my son david took me at 7 this morning to franks diner and we had the garbage plate. it was delicious!
the resturant is in an old box car. it was put there in 1926.
if you see the show, you will understand how unique this place is.
it was only about a 15 minute drive from my house.
we went early as sometimes there is an hour wait outside this place to get a booth or counter seat. it was very popular before the segment hit the tv last week. now people come from all over. this morning some dude and his family drove up from joliet illinois/ 2.5 hour drive, for breakfast.
came home after breakfast, got ready for church.
came home late after church and talked on the phone with mom and brother and cousins.
started dinner of mostaciolli. we ate in shifts. no one wanted to eat at the same time. still waiting for todd to come home to fix his dinner.
our schedules here are all different.
started laundry and now chilling here until time for meal cooking for todd.
it was a nice day. 2 sons gave me lovely things for my birthday.
i never expected it. i was wowed....
and never expected bd greetings here. wowed again.
i love my homies...
it's been the best birthday ever thanks to all of you!
you never know how a few kind words make me feel so good.
