i'm there.....i'm playin' "D" w/ ya! :thumbsup2

(I'm glad you keep up on that board...I can barely keep up here! :rotfl: )

Had my dinner at Olive Garden last nite....barely room for dinner after the salad & breadsticks :rolleyes1 DH & I bought our own snorkel gear last night  ....so, we are gtg. And Bubba, well i haven't really seen Bubba since dinner...we stopped by Circuit City last night and he bought RollerCoaster Tycoon 3-Platinum Edition....so, that's where he has been! ...building coasters, waterparks, etc.....

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday...it's rainy, overcast and thunderin' here! (not the type of "thunderstorm blows thru...consistantly thundering as in "stuck" here.... :headache: ) Yucky summer Sunday!

Here are my SpeedTest results:

Here is my latest

My plan with Comcast is rated for around 6 MB downloads, so I'm good to go with the amplifier hooked up right before my modem. Metro, if your plan is rated for 4 to 5 MB DLs than you're good, Your upload is great, I wonder if that is because the server your using is in your backyard, where as mine is 3 hours away???

This weather is a pain in the butt! I know we need the rain, but why on a Sunday when I might actually have time to do something outside :confused3

Tricia, thanks for the tip. I will check out the Levi's at Kohl's, but I'm not holding out any hope :sad2: i know the Sonoma's aren't long enough...I've tried...heck, I try every brand I come across....for Bubba's age, he is 99% for height and 97% for weight...I'm tellin' ya...tall & skinny! I'm about 5'9" and he comes to underarm (I'd say chest, but this gives you a better idea of where exactly.... :rolleyes1 ) I had the same problem growing up, now he has the same problem too. I'm not really fond of the adjustable waistband thing...the jeans are still too big in the seat and "package" area to be long enough....it's just a big headache....thank goodness he can go to school in sweatpants.... ;)

That's the problem I'm afraid I'm going to have with Daniel. At his 2 year checkup he was 97% for height and 95% for weight... which makes him sound like he should be proportionate in his height-to-weight ratio. However, he carries most of his weight in his upper body. His shoulders are broad and he has a barrel shaped chest... but the tushie and below are not nearly as big. He wears a 4T shirt, but 2T shorts. I don't want to think about what I'll need when I've got to start looking for pants for him. I've got another 2 months before I'll have to really worry about it... :rolleyes1

Joshua, on the other hand, is as much legs (if not more) than torso... and even though he is skinny, he still has a behind on him. That's why the adjustable waists work for him. When the pants fit his butt, they usually gap about 2 inches away from his waist. When I found the adjustable waist pants for the first time last year, I wept with joy. Why didn't they have these around when I was a skinny kid with the same problem?

Finding a brand that fits is such a chore. Even when kids are the same weight and/or height, it doesn't mean they are the same shape. Ugh.

We had some rain yesterday. Not much, but everything helps. It is overcast and "scattered showers" are in the forecast today. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'm off to see if I can dig up the Kindergarten supply list that the school was supposed to provide us with last week. I've been told there is a copy taped to the front doors of the school, so I'm going to go check. Classes start August 9th, so you'd think they would have them out by now... :sad2:

That's our forecast for the next few months. :rotfl:

It's always like that in FL in the summer.

I think Todd has found freesmilies and is having a bit of fun with his "new toy"...... maybe we should take his smilies.... :scratchin

 :lmao:

Hi all-
I will still need to read up a few pages.
Went to Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL. yesterday.
Yes, it was very crowded! Had a good time!:thumbsup2

Mac- sorry we weren't able to meet up, as I guess you were busy :guilty: Unfortunately, this is the only time we were going to G.A this season.
Too expensive and Chrissy hates anything Halloween, so Fright Fest is out for us, defintely is way too scary for her. Believe me, this is how she is
Anyways, thank you for your G.A. tips :thumbsup2 they really helped!
We did go to the SpyGirl stunt show, the 5 pm show. We did use the disability pass to get priority seating. DH felt really awkward about it, but I told him Mac said to ask with the disability pass and they will let us in. Once I say "autism", they let you in :thumbsup2, which Matthew is high functioning autistic. We left the park around 8:45 pm to go home.
Forgot to mention, we did meet up with Bugs Bunny and Taz breifly, when we got into the park earlier in the day.
Have some pics to show you all, when I get around to posting them :)

The kids want to go to the pool today, so I got to get moving off hte computer.

Talk later :flower3:

Hey homies! :wave2:
I'm here, but not for long....you guys know how it is...busy, busy!
Mac, t-and-a stands for Tim and Alison..... :angel:What did you think it stood for? :rotfl2:

Ya know it's funny that "t-and-a" is a part of one of my e-mail addresses and I had a telemarketer call my home phone for some kind of travel thing that I had expressed an interest in and he said "by the way, I love your e-mail address!" I asked him what he meant, that it stood for Tim and Alison...he just snickered, like SURE....whatever!
