Nashville Trio - I voted again. Don't know if I mentioned voting the first time, but I'm pulling for her!
Sharon - I'll do a major appliance dance with you! I'm still excited about about my new dryer. Well, maybe not excited, but I'm sure glad it's there.
Today was 6 month dental checkup day for the boys. Daniel (the 2 y/o) cooperated pretty well. His teeth are clean, flouride treated, and good for another 6 months. Joshua (the 5 y/o), however, kicked up such a fuss that we had to reschedule his appointment. Dr. Tom (who is a wonderful pediatric dentist and I adore him), said that this reaction isn't uncommon for a child who has recently had the tonsil surgery that Joshua had back in April. He said that all they know is the last time someone messed with their mouth, it hurt and they were miserable. It takes time for that memory to fade. We'll try again in 2 months and Dr. Tom is going to do the cleaning himself.
On the positive side, he said I shouldn't worry about the adult teeth that Joshua has crowding together... yet. As the baby teeth around them fall out, they may claim their space like they are supposed to. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I'm off to search through my kitchen for something to have for dinner. Those dinner elves that I keep hoping will show up and do it for me haven't made an appearance yet. I'm thinking this will probably be a "waffles for dinner" night...
