Tricia, what brand of jeans did you buy for Joshua? I have tall & skinny to shop for soon too :headache: (tall as in 57" & 60lbs)

Mine is 46" tall and 45 pounds. At his 5 year checkup, I think he was 90% for height, but like 40% for weight.

I got him Levi jeans (2 pair) in size 5 Slim, but they also have that wonderful adjustable waist band so I can bring the waist in even more. The label says "Boys Workwear" and then has an extra tag that notes the adjustable waistband.

I also got him a pair of Sonoma jeans, which I think is Kohl's own brand, in a 6 Slim. The waist is flat in the front, but gathered elastic for the back half.

therapy works wonders......
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

therapy could be defined as anything helpful to a person....
so this ugly 40 year old broad went to a water park today and
(BY HERSELF , I MIGHT ADD) just relaxed and swam and cooled off and is much more relaxed tonight. :goodvibes

I nearly drowned at the bottom of one of those so called safe flume like rapids, the elephant girl here manged to be coming down the thing(i swear it was 5 miles down ):rolleyes1 , BACKWARDS the whole way and screaming and volleyed out at the end and the SPASH! , the size 2 lifeguard who was young enough to be my child says while trying to suck in the laughter, you all right ma'am??? :sad2:

I tell yah, I bet they have video cameras for the landings....
 :rolleyes1 .

I will be at the chiropractor on Monday to put humpty dumpty here back together again......:rolleyes1

ah penny....hope yer okay  as funny as it sounds, i bet it was fun and refreshing....so ha! AND miss size 2 lifeguard WILL get married and WILL have kids (someday) and WILL come down that same slide at 40 years of age, experience the same thing and remember HER size 2 days! :guilty: You know what they say, "What goes around, comes around" :thumbsup2

Tricia, thanks for the tip. I will check out the Levi's at Kohl's, but I'm not holding out any hope :sad2: i know the Sonoma's aren't long enough...I've tried...heck, I try every brand I come across....for Bubba's age, he is 99% for height and 97% for weight...I'm tellin' ya...tall & skinny! I'm about 5'9" and he comes to underarm (I'd say chest, but this gives you a better idea of where exactly.... :rolleyes1 ) I had the same problem growing up, now he has the same problem too. I'm not really fond of the adjustable waistband thing...the jeans are still too big in the seat and "package" area to be long enough....it's just a big headache....thank goodness he can go to school in sweatpants.... ;)

Well, I think I will work on my TR some more...don't know if it'll get posted tonite (prolly not), but will work on it a little ;)

L8rs....

barb i've got my glasses on;) , thanks for the large type. Insurance co sez it's finally time to get new glasses:woohoo: . Lost last pair a few months ago, wearing the old ones. Can't wait to see what magnification i need now. Don't need regular vision corrected; not sure whether to try the unlined bi-focals again or not so i don't have to wear the 1/2 glasses:confused3 . I never get the "reading" 'script filled, always get the "intermediate"...so i don't chop off my fingers when i cook.:upsidedow

i remember my 1st bootle of cheap wine...boone's farm green apple - the smell makes me sick to this day.:rotfl2:

IMO, normal is vastly over-rated.:thumbsup2 remember abbynormal from young frankenstein?

penny - hope the chiropractor finds all your pieces.;)

Hi guys! Quick fly-by from beautiful WDW! We got here without mishap last night! Were supposed to hook up with Lori for lunch today, but I guess they ended up driving through all night last night for some reason. Left a message on my cell. We're hoping to still see them either tomorrow or the next day since we'll be at the same parks as them.

Had an awesome day at MK today. Did everything we had planned and a bunch more and still got back to the house by 2. Walmart was more exhausting than the parks were, but we ran into a friend from TGM that we're meeting (for the first time!) on Wednesday! Recognized us by the zillion pics I've sent her, the lime green DIS shirt and matching lime green crocs!:rotfl2: So that was a fun surprise!

Kids are enjoying the house, gameroom, pool, etc! Lots of storms this afternoon, but missed the first one driving from the MK back to the house (and a bit afterwards) and the second during our 2 hour stint at Walmart! We haven't gotten the wifi to work, but I'm doing okay on dialup (but a bit slow!).

I'll try to keep you guys updated, but we're about to jump in bed to rest up for AK tomorrow (have to get them out of the pool first!)

Oh - guess what we found? DS14's phone! It WAS in his carryon, which I swear I'd searched, but it was way down in a pocket under the water bottle tank (it's a hydration backpack). Yay!

Mike, verizon sux.....I think you should tell them you aren't able to pay your bill till (insert date here).... you ARE lucky to have cable tho :thumbsup2
Comcast has been pretty good, a couple of weeks ago, during one of those sudden bad storms, it fried the actual coax cable coming into my studio where I have my main computer that networks to the rest of them. They came out and replaced all the lines from the road to my studio building, (about 250ft) then put a new cable from the outside box, into the modem.
One thing DH might ask D&E about is if they can put an amplifier on his line, right before the modem. Comcast did that and it worked great, I have consistent 6300kbps downloads, the speed is crazy fast! Oh, and all our cables are above ground

Another thing, have your DH go to this site
and run some tests, he should be getting similar DL results as on Comcast. Let me know what happens?

Oh, you're right Verizon does suck! I hate the residential service, but so far I can't complain about the wireless internet access that I am on right now as a matter of fact!

(I'm actually at the Silo right now waiting for the first act to go on, passing the time)

D&E is phone...Service Electric is cable...don't EVER have any problems w/ phone....

Your link didn't connect :confused3 He has a test site that the cable company uses/recommends (i'm thinking similar to your link) and we have it bookmarked...it was the site we would "photo" document when the speeds were dropping.....

Hey guys! I have a favor to ask. My neighbor and friend, Jennifer Burden, has been selected by People magazine as one of the top ten Worst dressed women in America! If you want to and have time, go to this link and vote for her!!

http://www.people.com/people/static/h/package/worsttobest/index.html

If she wins, she gets to go to NYC for a makeover!! I know this is not Disney or Universal related, but I'm just trying to help her win!!

Also, you can go to this link and vote everyday until August 10th. Thank you guys!!
