Morning everyone. We'll be off soon, but I wanted to check in and say hi/bye.

I looked at the thread Jodie & Todd and I've tried to figure out what she was looking for out of that post... especially the last line. Is she saying her husband has a mistress and he enjoys the mistress more? Or less? I know she isn't, but couldn't it be construed that way? I mean, theoretically, if he is having sex in both cases... neither one is really "bad" right? One is just worded in a more middle of the road, romantic way... and one is worded in a more crude (or honest, depending on your perspective) way.

Probably too philosophical for 6:30 in the morning.

it started raining last night at 6:50 while i was at six flags.
the outdoor shows were closed at 7:15 due to that.


i did rides and a show before the rain started yesterday and came home by 8:30. hate walking around in wet undies and socks.


20% chance of rain today starting late morning up to 3 pm.
strong winds especially evening. marcie said she wasn't staying late so she will miss that fun...... temps to drop to 35 this evening.

marcie should have picked sunday for six flags. better weather day...

well, i will go both days. last weekend for it. meeting up with my hypnotist friend later tonight after park closes.


going to go look for marcie soon.
only a 15 minute drive tops for me to get there.

I know Gemma...Disney has apparently perfected the weather machine so that no rain ever falls on Disney property. I guess Universal needs to get busy.

So, everyone was up with me this morning.... about 20 minutes before the boys left for soccer game, phone rings. I answered it "Hey Coach". He said "How'd you know it was me?" I told him I'd been waiting for him to call...so, yeah, game called on account of the deluge of rain here.....come to think of it, it rained from Wed till Sat. afternoon...(sun out now)....hey Lori, can I borrow yer boat?

Off to do some stuff....catch everyone later.....happy Saturday!!! (happy for me now that I'm home from work!!)

Hey everybody!
Takin' a little break from right now....
DS10's team won another game this morning!!! 26 to 0! One of the moms on the other team was being a real jerk...she was yelling about our boys being too rough with their boys on the field. One of our boys got hurt on the field and she was hollering that it was his own fault and they shouldn't be playing so rough. Later in the game, her kid was running the ball and one of our players slung him down, (I wouldn't really call it a tackle because he wasn't on top of him) and he got the wind knocked out of him. Then she started shouting about wanting to kick some other momma's butt. Her kid was ok, but just a little shaken up for a moment.... I was thinking....these kids out there playing football, they're not Dr. Quinn and Medicine Woman (you'll get that if you watched Talladega Nights). The coach hollered at our boys later and said, "Try not to tackle so hard!" (he was seriously being sarcastic) What a game that was for some 5th and 6th graders! That mom put on quite a show!

Jodie and Todd, I saw that thread that you were talking about and wondered where in the world all that came from.... (wife and mistress...)whatever... Yes, the weather is all Universal's fault and yes I would totally want to ride Hulk and DD in the rain....

Barb, ya know, you might not miss us if you're going to the parks on the 26th...we'll be there most of the day, but I haven't made ressies yet and we're a little more flexible since we drive and could maybe do 23rd - 27th... I'll talk to DH a little more on it....
I've been right there with ya on rained out games and practices! It's pretty here today, but this morning when our game started, it was 40 degrees We've got one more football game for DS10, but we may have Allstars next, which will probably only be one game, but the practice pretty heavy for that one.

Marcie and Mac, I know ya'll are having fun at Six Flags!

WOW! What a "momma" story Before this year, I seriously could not understand "those" parents.... But, we'll have them, notice them, and laugh at them (I just don't want to turn INTO one of them!) Glad your boys won tho!

Ya know what they say about riding Hulk in the rain? I'd rather ride Hulk in the rain than be HOME on a sunny day

We WILL be at the parks the 26th...fly down first thing THAT morning! Depending on what time you leave... we should be there by noon (at least we were last year)
